I went to do the spa and nail treatment at the pan pacific hotel. I expected to pay a fair high price in any resorts in Bali. Spa staff are very friendly, but the quality of the treatment is average. I am very disappointing especially with my manicure, I paid 20 dollars for 30 minutes treatment with a very limited choice of Colors and my color was painted everywhere on the edge of my nails , I think the staff should be properly trained.

We booked in for the 3 night golf package, and weren't entirely happy with the first room we were shown (an ocean view suite). So we ended up upgrading to a ocean villa with pacific club perks thrown in and did not regret it one bit, despite the hefty price tag.
This is the large resort experience where there are several restaurants, extensive pools, organised activities and entertainment. But unique to it is of course golf course and the stunning, dramatic setting by the ocean, definitely do take the time to go around and soak it in even if you just ride in the caddy car. We did venture over to the actual Tanah Lot temple once but found it to be overrun by tourists and hawkers (you get a much better view from the resort anyway).
The best meal we had on this trip was here, a room service meal which was the most freshest mud crab in a panang curry - anyone who has mud crab before know that it is not an elegant thing, so being able to devour the meal in privacy added to the enjoyment.
Although the resort was only half full, the golf course was very busy - so much so that I would recommend you book your preferred tee off time well in advance.

Room Tip: Villa 703 - pricey but well worth it! Rate the golfers drive off the 13th hole as you have breakfast...

What a beautiful setting! Our 3 day stay here was filled with everything the resort had to offer. We played golf, complete with our own caddie and car, on one of the most gorgeous golf courses ever seen. We spent time frolicking in the 4 tiered pool, and loved playing on the waterslide!

It was quiet and relaxing, and we never once felt that the grounds were crowded. The choice of sunbeds and day beds is incredible, 1 day spent lounging on them is a must. Choose one of the beds located in the pool itself or on the cliff top for the best views.

We had a pool view room and loved every part of it. Clean, comfortable, roomy, every detail was perfect and attended too.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only issue we had with the resort was the limited choice of dining options. Although the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with no food item forgotten (even had chocolate buttons to mix in with your DIY muesli), the choices for lunch and dinner would leave much to be desired if you were staying for more than 3 days. Tapas at TLC was by far our favourite meal with a lovely picturesque outlook. The other options however are nothing special and a little overpriced (as all resort food traditionally is). For this reason when we return to this resort we will notbe staying for longer than 3 days.

Room Tip: We had a pool view room which was beautiful, didn't get to see any other option but I can't...

Yes.. in one word its "Awsome".... We stayed 6 nites on last month and it was the most wondreful vecation we had ever... Hotel location, atmosphere, service, neatnes, hospitality.. etc etc everything was amzing... And the most beautiful part of the stay in Pan Pacific Nirwana is the temple which is only 10 mints walkable distance fm the hotel.. which is loctaed a few metrs in to the sea... The setset which i experienced during that evening was the most beautiful and memorable one in my entire life.. and still i feel it... near to my heart. Our room was on golf side view..and it was awsome.. and after 3 days we got upgrade to a pool view room with kids room attached.. as o complementary gift for our wedding anniversary.... and our kids enjoyed it lot, as its near to kids club which also has a unique beauty where kids want to be for a long time..
And i still remmber the way they present my birthday cake.. it was a nice.. All moments are precious, which i would like to carry for a life time..
we dont feel to go outside the hotel, as we are that much comforatable with the entire atmosphere.. the scenary is simply ming blowing..
when we arrived at Bali airpor, after 11 hours of journey, i was much tired and disappointed..and i said to my husband , " I will never visit this place again".. But when we return to the airport after 6 days of stay in Pan pacific nirwana , i have changed my whole views..and said to my hubby "definitely we will come bk here very soon..... :)
So i strongly recomend the ones who are palnning to visit Bali, dont miss the chance to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets, which i experineced here....

Room Tip: Rooms with pool view...

The hotel is very large and as it is only 3 and 4 storeys high with all rooms facing out you can end up walking quite long distances Also I only ever found one lift so there was alot of climbing stairs. The least walking and best position is a room overlooking the pools.
We had booked a top floor Club Suite overlooking the pools and had sent confirmation of this 2 days before arrival. However on check we were given a room on the low floor. On complaining we were told the only top floor room overlooked the golf course. The Club attendant sorted the room out for us as we received no help from reception and we eventually got the room we had booked. The down side was it took 4 hours before we could unpack.
Whilst it was not the greatest start, I have to say the rest of our stay was excellent mainly because of the service and facilities at the Club and the beautiful location of the hotel with its numerous pools, bars and restaurants.
The suite was newly rennovated and was both comfortable and spacous The verandah was large and private and perfect for watching the sunset. There were some annoyances in the room such as the fridge did not work and it replacement never really got cold, the toilet ran like a river for several days and numerous power points did not work. Not the type of things you would expect from the Pan Pacific group.
The hotel we were informed was only 30% full which meant any one of the swimming pools was like a private pool and one of the Bales overlooking the ocean was always available.
We stayed in at the hotel for the four days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The club service, food drinks, location and staff were outstanding and this is what made a good holiday a very memorable one.
Unlike many hotels room service was very fast and all the problems we encountered in the room were quickly dealt with. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Tanah Lot and golf course are spectacular as was the sound of the waves crashing on the cliffs.
If I wanted a get away from it all holiday I would stay again as the hotel has alot too offer and its club, when they have specials, is terrific value

Room Tip: If you can afford it go Club, its terrific value

Stayed for 8 nights over Easter, excellent service and smiles all round.
The rooms were pleasant and peaceful. We had an issue after day 3 with air con making the room feel damp so we were moved with no objections at all.
We had a room next to our 2 sons and as there were no other close rooms available, we were upgraded to a suite, being the closest room available.
Pool was fantastic, never a scrum for sunbeds and pool service was very good.
We has use of club lounge which again provided great service and excellent quality of food and drinks.
Prices were reasonable, £7 for lunch at pool etc.
I would love to return to this part of a very peaceful part of bali with amazing views of Tanah Lot.

Room Tip: Pool veiws can get a bit noisy in mornings with jet lagged children! Golf veiws most peaceful while...

Just got back last nite after a 4 days stay with my wife.

Yes - the place is everything as described by all the reviewers.

The scenery is simply stunning.

The sun and the surf is an intoxicating mix.

We had some initial hiccup with our check-in (booked the ocean view) and we were given Room 222 (actual view of hole No. 6) and a small opening of the ocean. After a little knock-on-the-head, we were assigned Room 452. Direct pool and ocean view.

The only problem was walking up and down as there seems to be only 2 elevators in the whole complex

The hotel is "getting old" - bathroom is not cleaned properly. The pillows are lumpy...but overall they are doing everything they can ....It's amazing every single lightbulb works in this huge complex. Just observe this when you drive in/out of the complex.

Spa - if you want a couple's room - for a massage with your spouse .... scratch that idea !!

The aircon is weak ( even in the single's room and at 4 in the afternoon ). The couple's room opens into a sunken jacuzzi (but someone has forgotton to seal up the foot or so gap between the wall and roof) so it was a sauna in the massage room for both of us and the poor masseurs !! Our 2 hours massage was a washout.

Walk to Tahanlot - during low tide - worth your time and efforts.

Golf - if you are a golfer - you must try out the No 1 most beautiful golf in Asia ( the caddies say that ). Never seen so many golfers stop and whip out their cameras at holes 6/7.

Food - if you are a non-meat eater (like us) - tough luck - as choice is very limited. We ended up eating only vegetarian nasi goreng or mee goreng. The restaurant don't even offer pizzas.

Prices are expensive (just like any resorts) you just have to pay for the 5 stars services and views.

Go - if you want fantastic views, great golf and doing absolutely nothing - hanging out by the pool

Don't choose this hotel - if you want 24 hours bars, restaurants, shopping round the corner

Room Tip: avoid Room 222 if you want a proper sea view
