We stopped off here during a tour of the north of the island mainly because of the stunning views over the rice terraces. There was a buffet but the 6 of us decided to go for lighter meals of sandwiches/burgers. These were a culinary low point of our trip to Bali with small portions and meagre fillings. They also came with some sort of half cooked potato wedge type things that were barely edible. The mayo looked as if it had bern around for a while and I decided to give it a miss. All that said, other guests did seem to be tucking into the buffet with gusto. All in all very unremarkable food and service in a truly remarkable setting. If it weren't for the views and lack of competition I think it would have to up its game to survive.
