That's a seven hour ride to start off with, and its out of Jakarta's crazy traffic jams. So you do the math. Resort wise it's mid range in price but doesn't seem to have the lux level to go with it. A little aged, some creaks and cracks but chalets were still clean and have decent sleepers.
Resort facilities include an overcrowded pool (because the island has no swimmable beach!). To get that kind of pristine beach in the photos in their website, you have to pay to go for a short trip to Pulau Oar, with clear waters, and snorkeling arenas. The island is well maintained though, just that besides a crowded swimming pool (why wld one want to go that far to an island and swim in a pool?)
Basically a place for groups of young peeps and families. Not honeymooney or quite relaxing as they pitched to be. However, the indons are lovely people, and certainly if you are not there for the quietude, they can be quite fun a group to live on the island with.
Price wise is really arguable but 6 million rupiahs for four persons per night with food is okay except for the beachless aspect.
All in all, a little below expectation and seriously not worth the seven hour trip.
