Upon reading the reviews and seeing the pictures we thought this was the perfect place for a romantic dinner away from the beach. However, reality is not the fantasy the reviews and pictures portray. The wonderful lagoon and sandy beach overlooks a shopping mall carpark and we had a wonderful view of gardens urns littered around the garden center.
Food was overpriced and ive never had that type of oyster rockerfellers in my many years of travelling the world and enjoying seafood. For a Vancouverite im fortunate to enjoy some of the best seafood in the world and this place is a very very poor second in comparison.
Crayfish is disguised as lobster and charged at lobster prices. I've yet to witness a supposed high end restaurant unable to serve wine by the glass. The service was good until more than 6 guests arrived. At that point we lost the waiter for over 45 minutes. Cocktail drinks I have had more frisky milkshakes. Not sure the interpretation of high quality seafood from an Asian standpoint but this is not up to the expectations of Western seafood culture.
