Nalaka, the hotel manager gave us a very varm welcome to the hotel, and was a big contributer to our pleasant stay at the hotel. We had delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinner and breakfasts. Nalaka was eager to explain and teach us about the food and the story behind them.

A very pleasant place to stay if you are in Nuwara Eliya! Nalaka &Team’s Exceptional hospitality made us fall in love with this place even more. The rooms are squeaky clean and contemporary, the food was homely and non commercial. The surrounding was classy you will truly feel like home away home. Will definitely recommend.

i have visited so many locations in Nuwara Eliya and also been a hotelier I highly recommend Kent Cottage and its staff that they can make your stay much more memorable sice the cottage itself will do the same. I can assure that you will feel the absolute comfort and the royal atmosphere as you see the pictures. We were their for our honeymoon and the manager “Nalaka” was a star. I was the best customer service through him.

Food was also perfect. Just perfect.

Thanks to Kent Cottage, Nalaka and his boys, Chaf, we had a wonderful stay and unforgettable honeymoon.

Thanks guys!

My self and my wife was so previllaged to select this awesome cottage for our stay for one night.
The welcome was fabulous with very short notice and the entire staff was there to greet us.
This was a healer to us given the bad experience at a star class hotel in Nuwaraeliya.
We were shown to our room which was nicely decorated and with state of the art aminities. The room looked great and comfortable.
The staff was very concern to make us comfortable and a big thank you to Nalaka, Madhushanka and the staff.
We ordered a srilankan meal for dinner and it was well prepared and tastefully presented.
After the breakfast we checked out from this property with wonderful memories .

Overall the experience was fantastic with excellent service levels and we do not hesitate to highly recommend this property to any one visiting Nuwaraeliya.

Our recent stay at Kent Cottage in Deluxe Double room was not just a hotel stay BUT an experience to remember. It would have been so easy to have booked into a modern hotel with all the services one expects – but have done so we would have missed a priceless opportunity to experience life in an “England cottage” (holds true to its title).

The interior is decorated exquisitely with carefully chosen furniture that blends contemporary with classic to create the charm of an English cottage. The room given to us was immaculate and cozy, with ultra comfortable bed, a large window – to admire the stunning outside view, free valuable Wi-Fi and, of course, a bathroom stocked with essential toiletries.

The staffs were friendly, thoughtful and made extra effort to make our stay comfortable and, this is no different when it comes to food, as the cooking team caters for a range of appetites and flexible timings. The chef deserves a special mention as his foods – chicken kottu, parata with chicken curry and dhal, hoppers, chicken noodles that we had was to die for. Our sincere thanks to the cottage manager Mr.Nalaka for being friendly, genuinely concerned about guest satisfaction and for working hard to deliver the service levels the Cottage is expected to reach. Not to forget, Mr. Selvam (staff) who helped and guided us on visiting multiple destinations on our short stay of three days. Many Thanks.
