“Lovely scenery - difficult walking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

Great place for the scenery although the walking was very difficult as it was rocky and uneven for a large part of one of the routes. Unfortunately, our guide failed to mention this to us and at one point my Mum actually fell.

The shroud of mist makes for very dramatic scenery, however, it also means that you can't see much when you reach the top!

Bakers Fall is very beautiful - worth the trip although some steep steps in the forest to get there so may be difficult for some people to climb.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

Lovely landscape in the park and the view was amazing from World's End (even though it was misty and therefore not as impressive as usual!)
great walk. Long drive to get there, I'd stay over next time

“Great Views”

Beautiful views try to get there between 7am and 10am before the mists cover the view and prepare yourself for a long walk.

“Awesome trekking experience !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2014 via mobile

We trekked with my children for this wonderful Horton plains national park, world's end in December 2012. Started early morning from Nuwara Eliya with packed breakfast. After reading in TA forums, decided as must visit place. As expected, it worked out well with pleasant climate .. Wonderful nature.. 9+ km long trekking track ..mostly plain track. Lovely walk through valleys and streams, spectacular views....
When we were at world's end, clouds escalated from downhill and moved top very quickly . Bakers Waterfalls on the way of trekking path.
Carry your food and water, only a small shop available near entrance. Entrance ticket bit expensive for foreigners. Worthy and must visit place..
