Beautiful gardens and that is all you are going to get. Rooms are boring, rundown decor and uninviting. The service is terrible. Unfriendly & unwilling staff and very male dominated. My wife was treated as second class citizen. If u want to experience Sri Lanka this is not the place. Governor's mansion in dickoya gives you a similar experience to hill club but very friendly attentive staff. Beautiful rooms, and great views. Worth the money. If u are dining in hill club don't bother. Food is terrible.
