It's a very nice hotel. Probably the best in Yilan city. Our family stayed there for a night celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary. The Room was spacious and clean. The service was not up to int'l standard though. Waiters in the restaurants are not professionally trained. One guy was trying to stack up the dishes but ended up spilling the beverage on my sis-in-law. He left without an apology. Other then that, the hotel is a decent hotel. Carrefour and a shopping mall are right inside the hotel. There's a food court in the mall. And Starbucks and donut shops too. The spa was good. Hotels are generally over-priced in Jiaoxi. But Silks Place Yilan isn't too bad.
