We arrived at 8am and got right in. We knew better than to wait until later on a Sunday morning. The blueberry pancakes were AWESOME! Full of blueberries! The coffee was AWESOME! The bacon and eggs were AWESOME! Many people complain about the runny syrup, but maybe they never experienced a mother making homemade maple syrup when they were kids. That is how it is when made in a lovingly way. We love the friendliness, the efficiency, the cleanliness and most of all, we love the china that they use which takes you back in time to cafes from the past. They really know what they are doing at The Pancake Shop! Can't wait until my visit next summer! Oh and it was worth every penny!

The pancakes were excellent served with the usual honey butter and maple syrup. The peanut butter pancakes were exceptional. Quick service and friendly.

You have to buy everything separately...pancakes, meat, eggs etc. That's weird if you ask me. This is also why it's a little expensive. They do give you big portions though. So if my husband and I go again, we'll place one order and split it. We paid about $25 for breakfast; you can cut that price in half by ordering one set of pancakes, meat, eggs and asking for two plates. It seems like it's the place to eat breakfast on Central Ave., so be prepared to wait. We had to stand outside and wait about 30 mins before being seated. And YES, you'll probably have to wait outside on a Saturday because they're super crowded!!

Worth the wait for the bottomless cup of coffee and delicious, hearty pancakes that stick to your ribs. You can feel the history in the building and will be impressed by the pleasant efficiency of the staff.

I had a late breakfast here. Buckwheat pancakes with blueberries tasted great. Syrup is very thin though. My husband enjoyed his banana pancakes. Excellent orange juice. Small town feel. Owned by family for decades. Very small restrooms. I would eat here again.
