My experience here wasn't like other Embassy Suites (including the night before in Dallas), which have been great. I felt like I was interrupting the receptionist while trying to check in. As she was working on her computer, she seemed like I was distracting her from something more important. That wasn't a big deal, but EVERY front desk person seemed like they were clockroaching - just watching the clock to go home. Every interaction felt like I was interrupting an elder English professor from his research of the newspaper. This was completely different from every other Embassy Suites experience.

The first day, we got home at 6:30 pm and the room hadn't been cleaned. They said there were too many guests and didn't have enough time to clean it. Really? I would have at least thought they'd say, "We'll be right up to take care of it." We got clean towels from the pool area.

One of the staff was complaining to me about the number of guests and how much they had to work - I felt bad for her, but realize that attitude reflects leadership - which doesn't appear to be here.

Also, this was also the first Embassy Suites that I didn't get corporate survey to complete. I wonder why?

I would recommend this place if you are a big breakfast person (the breakfast was good) - otherwise find somewhere else in Hot Springs that would actually make you feel like they want you there.

This hotel is just making money on the brand and could care less on the customer experience.

The Embassy Suites in Hot Springs, AR is a really good hotel for business and pleasure. If you are staying for business, it is across the street from the Hot Springs convention center making parking extremely easy. It is however, a few blocks from Bath House Row if you are traveling for pleasure. It is clean, comfortable and offers a free, good breakfast as I always enjoy a hot breakfast (not just off a buffet line). The only down side is that internet service is only offered to upper levels of Hilton Honors Members. In today's world where everyone uses the internet, I do not understand why hotels continue to charge for this service when they offer it in their lobbies. In addition, if we do need to keep it as a special service, it should be offered to all Hilton Honor Members. Perhaps this might get more customers to actually join. Overall, good hotel.

It's hard to beat an Embassy Suites stay! Went with family of 4 (kids are 17 and 15), for a 3 day Spring Break getaway. Plenty of room for all four of us. Really enjoyed the nightly snacks which allowed all of us to sit and relax, and munch on snacks as we considered where to go for dinner (and that's another story). Breakfast was fantastic, as always! Only issue was the limited parking. There was available parking across the street, but the hotel's not necessarily in the best part of town and we were initially uncertain of parking across the street. But nothing happened - it would just be nice if they had more, ample parking on-site.

Traveling through Arkansas during spring break, decided that Embassy Suites would be best, as a family of three (me, wife, and 7 yr old daughter) could spread out and relax. My daughter always loves to pull out the couch and have her "own" room and tv. The evening snack was vegetables and dip, left a little to be desired, but it's nice of them to offer anything at all for an afternoon snack, so no complaints. Took a dip in the warm inside pool, so that was a plus with the kiddo! Hot tub was relaxing after the pool, then the bed was super comfortable. Room was very quiet at, no noises outside or in hallway to disrupt the sleep at all. Embassy suites breakfast was like it always is, very good! Line for the omelette was about 25 people deep, so went to other route, and eggs, and meats were very good as well. 4 types of juice offered, and breads from pastries to toast to good biscuits. Paid a little extra for the Internet package, and it was shaky at times, but ok. Parking was ok as well. Overall, I'd recommend this place with flying colors. The staff was nice, helpful, no one in a bad mood, which is a deal killer for me. Customer service costs nothing, and I never encountered anyone in a bad mood at all, from the check in guy, to the maids, to the people helping with breakfast. Two thumbs up, we'll be back.

Room Tip: We were on floor 7, had a good experience

Very nice hotel off the main drag but still close to everything.

Rooms:
Typical Embassy Suite rooms/furniture. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

Manager's Reception:
Very nice but seems to be really crowded on Sat. nights. The piano player was very good, but if you are in your room trying to rest while he is playing..forget it. We were on the 9th floor and could still hear him playing and singing until at least 10pm. We didn't mind though but others may.

Breakfast:
Best part of the stay. The pancakes and cooked to order omelets are the best.

Fitness Center:
Used both morning during our stay. Nice equipment but is a it small for the size of the hotel. Each morning we went it was full which made the space a little tight, especially if your are on a treadmill or elliptical and someone else is using the free weights.

We are honored that you chose the Embassy Suites Hot Springs Hotel and Spa to celebrate your special anniversary weekend. We are very pleased that you enjoyed our facilities and our location which is so convenient to historic downtown. Thank you for mentioning our piano music. On Wednesday and Thursday evening the music lasts until 8:30pm and on Friday and Saturday the music stops at 9:30pm. Most guests seem to enjoy that music format. The good thing about our two room suites is that you can close the bedroom door and never hear a thing. Thank you again for choosing our hotel and thank you also for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor.

This was a girlfriend trip to the racetrack and the spa. The motel was super comfortable and easy to access. The manager's cocktail hour in the evening is fun and relaxing. The breakfast is great - better than I make at home! They have a shuttle to and from the racetrack, so we didn't have to fool with parking at all, which was great. We'll be back.

Room Tip: I wouldn't stay on the lower floors because there's activity at all times.
