“Never Disappointed!”
Reviewed 12 April 2010

Wow, just checked out yesterday and this was not our first stay but we had not been back for a couple of years and it truly was like, "coming home". We have a group that rents all the rooms in the house for a weekend, and we can not say enough good things about the accomodations or the service. Dave and Rebecca are AMAZING and you can't help but to wish everyone could experience this wonderful bed and breakfast. If you get the chance to go, do it! Hot Springs is full of history and this bed and breakfast has it's own history as well. Trust us, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I visited Hot Springs for our first time this past weekend. It was our pleasure to have chosen Wildwood 1884 as out place to stay. The room (Barrett Browning Room) was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The common areas were a delight with an abundance of interesting period pieces. They serve a delicious and filling breakfast.
Do not miss Rebecca's home history tour; they have the good fortune of having access to the original owners diaries and as such have a clear history of the home and the area. David and Rebecca are open and friendly hosts and made us feel welcome in their home.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this amazing B&B, and it will not be the last. David and Rebecca make us feel a part of their family, and they are just great, lovely people all around. Wildwood is so beautiful! We stayed in the Rose Room again this time (it is my favorite room). Breakfast, of course, was out of this world. Rebecca reserved a couple's massage for us, and also got dinner reservations for us. As long as we visit Hot Springs, we will NEVER stay anywhere else!

I had never had the experience of being at a B&B until my girlfriend and I visited Wildwood for her birthday this past weekend. David and Rebecca were more than hospitable. They both took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable. They catered to our every need. If it needed to be done, they did it. From breakfast in the morning to spa appointments in the afternoon, and then to dinner reservations to the place of your choice. They were on top of it. When was the last time you had ice cream and brownies topped with REAL whipping cream for breakfast? We did at Wildwood 1884. It's a must stay whenever you are in Hot Springs. HOTELS ARE OVER-RATED after this experience!

This bed and breakfast was amazing!!! This was my first time staying in a b&b, so I really had no idea what to exspect. The host were amazing and so friendly, they even gave a guided history tour of the house, which was so interesting and made the trip even more enjoyable. The rooms were amazing as well, very spacious with the warmth and comfort of home. But I have to say the best part was the breakfast. It was by far the best breakfast I've ever had. It's three courses of signature dishes prepared by the host. I travel to Hot Springs three or fours times a year, I will never stay in another place there again. It was such an amazing experiance I can't wait to go back!

When we called before checking in, they suggested a great place for lunch. With that - before we even checked in - we began experiencing their commitment to assuring we had a memorable time in Hot Springs and at their Bed & Breakfast.

After checking in, this service commitment continued unabated throughout our two-night stay. From the complimentary beverages, homemade brownies and cookies (24 hours a day), guided tour of this amazing, historical, and beautiful house, and suggestions (with discounts) of things to see and do, everything we could want or need was either already anticipated or fullfilled within moments.

And the facilities - - to say they were outstanding would be an understatement: comfortable bed, beautifully-restored decor, fireplace, and our private porch with swing. Just a couple minutes from downtown Hot Springs, in a peaceful, calm setting.

The breakfasts were beyond description. Gourmet courses, served on antique china, and lovingly prepared. Both mornings, breakfast was so good that we skipped lunch.

The best thing about Wildwood 1884 is the commitment of the owners to anticipate and provide everything we might want in order to make our visit to Hot Springs and our stay at their beautiful and historic B&B memorable.

Our only regret was having to leave. But, as General MacArthur once said, "I shall return!"
