“Gorgeous!! It was the perfect getaway for my husbands birthday!”
Reviewed 12 March 2013

The location is perfect if you want privacy, but not too secluded. The staff was great and very friendly. The room had a fireplace, full kitchen with everything you need to cook, and a double jacuzzi tub. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had a back porch and front porch with a grill and chairs. The scenery looks like a picture out of a book in the fall. We would definitely go back!

If you do not stay here, you will have missed out on a great stay. The staff were very friendly and the stay was great. We will be back. The area is beautiful, nestled between two mountains. The cabins are rustic and homey but with all the modern conveniences you need. The jacuzzi tub was perfect. It is a perfectly romantic place away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. I would recommend Panther Valley Ranch to anyone.

We visited Hot Springs, AR for a weekend getaway and chose to stay at the Panther Valley Ranch. The ranch is located just outside of Hot Springs. The ranch and facilities were so nice and clean. We stayed in the Victory Suite and were especially impressed! We enjoyed the rustic feel of the suite and the property in general. The furnishings were very cozy and comfortable, the décor having a western flair. The claw foot tub was an added bonus. Ben lit a fire in the wood fireplace when we arrived for check in. The kitchen had a stove and refrigerator and was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes.
The owner and staff were gracious and informative about area attractions, food, etc. We had a great time on the trail ride/steak dinner. The horses were gentle and we discovered that they are available for trail riding at various times throughout the day. Our trail riding guide, Jade, was very attentive and patient with some of us "older" people who hadn't ridden horses in many years! For our supper, the steaks were grilled exactly to our request and the twice baked potato was perfectly seasoned and warm. The brownie for dessert was nice and warm.
After our trail ride, we walked around the property, then sat on the porch in rockers and enjoyed the peace and quiet, the nickering of the horses, and the other night sounds. We could hear the beautiful voices of the pre-show actresses warming up for the musical/drama, “The Witness”, which is located next door to this property. At the last minute, we decided to attend and were so glad we did. The play was great. The actors/actresses were exceptional, bringing an occasional tear to our eyes during their heartfelt performances. A must see if staying at the Panther Valley Ranch. The play is seasonal so be sure and check their schedules.
To wrap up, if you want peace, quiet, and cleanliness, this is the place to stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: The Victory Suite is the best! So rustic and inviting.

We stayed here on our honeymoon in the Pine Suite. Very nice and clean! The rocking chairs, pond and horse barns made me feel truely at home. The barn manager is the most most polite gentleman you'll ever meet. The entire staff was so warm and friendly. Very relaxing place. We will definately be back!

The Colony, Texas

We arrived here at the ranch on Saturday afternoon from The Colony TX to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. For the most part in the past we have usually taken cruise ship and beach vacations. We really wanted to make our first year wedding anniversary a priority and just take a few days to ourselves to get away from our usual chaotic, demanding lives without spending a lot of money and going somewhere different with a new experience. Upon arrival, the ranch immediately gave off a very welcoming, warm vibe of simplicity and tranquility. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The Ranch Suite was absolutely perfect. Calm, quiet, cold AC, and much to our surprise and a blessing in disguise, no cell phone service or internet access. We were unable to fish due to the pond being dried up but we did enjoy the view anyway. We spent our first evening in grilling and watching movies. On Sunday, the morning of our anniversary we spent the morning at Quapaw Spa which I highly recommend. Excellent, friendly, staff and phenomenal services offered at a good rate. I recommend the steam cave. We visited the Wax Museum and the local shops on Central Ave. We would recommend traveling to the area on Saturday and staying through Monday as to avoid the usual tourist traffic on a typical Saturday at any resort town. We spent our last evening here grilling steaks, enjoying cold beer and wine and just enjoying each other’s company in the peace and quiet. Overall, it was a very pleasurable and enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend Panther Valley Ranch in the future. Thanks for the experience.

My mom took me here for a birthday girls outing, and despite my original hesitation, this place was GREAT!

The rooms were clean and had a very country home feel to them (as you would expect from a ranch).

This was my first visit to Arkansas, so I wasn't sure what to expect overall, but this ranch provided us with all we needed! There were several families, couples and friends there. The owners were nice and knowledgeable.

The horse back riding was really relaxing, and the steak was DELICIOUS! Do NOT go here and not get your steak! lol

LOVED it - and I am hoping to take my husband one of these days.
