“Check the shower first”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

The owners are friendly and personable. The property needs some attention however. Wanted to shower in the morning but no luck as the shower head was apparently clogged and wouldn't work. The owner was willing to try to fix it but it was just an overnight, and we didn't have time to hang around for that. The sink leans one way and the toilet the other. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets but the bed spread was stained and in need of laundering.

We only stayed one night, but we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. The current owners have taken an older hotel and done a wonderful job of updating the property. My son was thrilled that the deep end of the pool was nine feet deep. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, even when you ask stupid questions like, "do you have towels for the pool?" When you are standing in front of the sign directing you to the pool towels. An excellent place to stay for the price we paid.

I checked all the other Hotels on this strip and decided on Knights Inn. I ended staying for over a month as I house shopped, $229 per week was perfect for my budget, James & Gloria (owners) were fabulous and worked hard to take care of their guests and the property. The pool was clean and refreshing as was the hot tub, nice cont breakfast, the room had two queen beds, fridge Coffee pot, microwave, situated on the edge of town, quiet, clean, affordable, I could easily have spent more for less somewhere else. Thank you for the great stay! I will be back.

Room Tip: as a fellow hospitality manager,I recommend staying here, save your monies!

Place is a bit run down but management are trying hard. Room was small but clean enough, some of the lights didn't work and power plugs just fell out of the wall socket. Bathroom was very small but OK. Internet was poor, no internet at all in early morning. Give them a pass for trying but needs a lot of work.

My husband and I stayed at this Knights Inn on our way to Mesa Verde NP and four corners. It was a nice, clean hotel and good location. The beds were not the most comfortable but everything else was very nice. I don't have much feed back on the continental breakfast as I did not have it- I was on a very restricted diet, but my husband wasn't and he seemed pretty satisfied. Overall this was a good value and I would recommend this hotel. We would stay here again if back in the area.
