Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites

Stayed primarily at Best Westerns while on 18 day road trip through western US national parks because a buffet breakfast is usually included, the prices are reasonable, and I can expect excellent service and amenities. The Turquoise Inn in Cortez is a very nice BW, but unfortunately, they did not have an elevator access to the suite we had reserved. It was a minor inconvenience, but one I hope BW corporate office will consider updating. The room was great, the buffet was delicious, and the service was excellent as well. There was a very nice courtyard with a waterfall just off the breakfast room. Aesthetics were very pleasing.

Room Tip: Avoid a second story room in the section without elevator service, unless you enjoy climbing stairs.

Great location in order to see Mesa Verde NP the next day after arriving to the hotel. Bought our tickets on the day before going to the park at the Cortez visitors' center for two of the tours to the cliff dwellings. By doing this, we were assured of getting the reservations for the times we wanted, etc. Staff was very friendly and courteous. We were on the road for eighteen days on this trip and I must say that this breakfast was the best of the lot. We had some good breakfasts, but this one had that little extra that made us remember it.

With a prior reservation and early check-in we thought the room would be better. We were put in a corner, lower floor room next to housekeeping. Way too much noise and traffic! View out our window was of housekeeping staff. Quests upstairs had a large dog that barked all evening. We were not aware the inn had an inner courtyard until the next morning. Would not recommend or stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. We stayed for four nights. The first night we were in a regular room and the next three nights we were able to move to a suite. The regular room seemed more dated, but it was still clean. The suite was very nice and worked well for our family of four. The only thing we would have liked to make the hotel better was a fitness center. Also the hot tub room had a very high level of chlorine in it and made your eyes sting.

Very nice hotel- clean, professional staff, good location and good breakfast included. As nice as any 5 star hotel in the big cities. The hotel has two pools and a lovely courtyard to relax in. My teenage son was very happy that they had a very fast internet speed. Breakfast provided a good variety and very friendly staff was available to make sure of ample supply. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't expect good customer service anymore, but my recent stay at Best Western Turquoise Inn proved that people can and do care about their customers. Each employee was helpful and asked what they could do to help. The hotel was clean and comfortable for our 5 night stay. The breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Cortez. CO.

We spent several days in Cortez, Colorado visiting Mesa Verde National Park,Four Corners and Hovenweep National Monument. Upon arrival at Turquoise Inn and Suites, we were greeted at the check-in desk by Eva, she was cheerful, gracious , and extremely helpful. I have Celiac Disease, and she recommended a nearby resturant which served gluten-free meals. Both my husband and I were impressed by Eva's warm, friendly smile, her helpful manner and her overall graciousness.
