Easy access for pet friendly lodging in Cortez. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
We were there Christmas Day so it was pretty quite but the property is huge so availability should not be a problem. This was an excellent value, we have paid much more for less.

When I arrived to my room we started the water to the spa and it took one hour to fill the spa. Then we tried to start the jets they didn't work
We where woken by kids in the pool at 7am
We went for breakfast and there was no food to eat we asked the lady to put more bagels out she said no this was at 8:45am
I will never stay there again

Dear Mr. Barrett, We were shocked and dismayed to learn of the situation you experienced during your recent stay. The Jacuzzi tubs in the hotel were originally of the "4 person" variety, and you are absolutely correct: they take far too long to fill! We have been replacing these tubs with brand new, "2 person" Jacuzzi tubs that have twice as many jets and a much higher jet-pressure; unfortunately the room you stayed in is scheduled for a replacement tub this spring, so it still has the older version in the room. The noise from the pool area can be occasionally heard inside a few of our rooms that are located in the atrium area, we are sorry that noise affected the quality of your stay. Our breakfast does close at 9am, and there is no reason that fresh product of any type would not be refilled prior to closing time, even at 8:59 am. We appreciate that you brought this service issue to our attention and we have addressed this issue with the entire Breakfast Room and Front Desk teams to prevent it from occurring again. In any event, it is clear to us that we failed to deliver upon your expectation here, and we have just processed a full (100%) REFUND to the credit card you used during your stay. We hope you will accept our sincere apologies, and please understand we DO stand behind our service guarantee, as demonstrated here and now. Thank you for sharing these comments so we can prevent these types of issues in the future...we sincerely hope for the possible opportunity to serve you again if you are in the Cortez area... All the best!

Great place to stay! Great location! Kitchenette should come with at least paper towels, dish towels, dish soap, and salt and pepper.

Thank you for sharing your comments about your stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Cortez. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in one of our beautiful kitchenettes, and your comments are spot-on! We have since implemented a program to include a fresh roll of paper towels, a small bottle of dish soap, several dedicated "dish towels", as well as salt & pepper shakers (in our kitchenette room type - with either one King or two Queen beds). This will certainly enhance anyone's stay in a kitchenette, and reinforces our motto, "Baymont Inn & Suites of Cortez; your basecamp for adventure in the four corners area!" We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve you again... All the best!

Majority of outside lighting burned out. I stayed here with my mother and we wouldn't have stayed if we weren't so exausted from driving. We did not feel safe, propped a chair against the door. DIRTY! Broken lamp shades. Curtains falling off the rod. I paid for Aquafina water from vending machine and got Arrowhead. NASTY, GROSS MOTEL. YUCK!
