The security guard when we checked in, and the drug dealer in the lobby, should have been my first clues that all was not well. Trying to be kind to the budget, we checked in anyway. At 2 a.m., sleep was interrupted by blood curdling screams, and an altercation in the hallway. Later that day we made other arrangements, and checked out.

Room Tip: Do not stay here. Ever. For any reason.

We should have gotten right back on the bike when we arrived. A pan handler tried to sell us a shirt and pants as soon as our feet touched the ground. Check-in took about 25 minutes because one person behind the counter was cleaning up the blood from the fight he just got into, and the other (actual person that worked there) didn't know how to process my corporate lodging card. The so called security person only seemed to be concerned with the parking permits. We didn't get much sleep in fear that something would happen to our bike. The room was very rundown but surprisingly clean. There were other hotels in the area and they didn't seem to have anyone loitering outside like this place did. We arrived at 10pm and were back on the road by 4am just because we couldn't get a good night sleep. They should have paid US to stay there.

Room Tip: Stay anywhere but this hotel! The value isn't worth the risk!

dont know where to start. check in was fast. down hill from there. got to our room and the room acrtoss from us was having a party. theyre door was opened and a bunch of young kids, probably underage were drinking and smoking. 2 of them sitting in the hallway drinking on the floor. when asked for a new room they said none were available yet the parking lot only had 3 or 4 rusty trucks and a van marked escort service. should have known then. bathroom was okay but main room dirty and bad musty smell. no coffee pot in room and asked for one. clerk said it cost $2.00 extra. forget it. probably going in his pocket. ice machine was empty, probably from the party across the hall. tv remote did not work. desk clerk brought new ones, or should i say used ones as they lasted about an hour. 4 channels on tv. next morning after about 3 hours of sleep went for the breakfast. girl said they were out of everything and it had only been 15 minutes since they opened. ok, who ate all that? needless to say, we are never going back and we did send a letter to corp. hq. strangely we have not heard back.

Room Tip: sleep in your car

When we booked a room at the motel 6, we had low expectations. However, there are no expectations low enough for this dump. It looked crappy enough from the outside, but once we stepped inside, it got even crappier! It smelled like old lady cigarettes and hair salon. Not only did they leave the light on for us, but they also left the door wide open. Fortunately, the shady characters who were loitering in the parking lot were not hiding under our bed. Although, we don't know for sure since no one was brave enough to get on their hands and knees on the grimy, stanky carpet to check. After an uncomfortable nights sleep on the saggy, nasty bed with our own sheets brought from home (that i will now have to burn), we made the mistake of trying to use the bathroom, only to find that it didn't flush. Didn't want to risk contracting a contagious disease by using the shower, so we packed up and left at 5:45 AM. Typically when staying at a hotel I like to take the liberty of helping myself to the complimentary toiletries. However, we opted to actually leave a few souvenirs behind so as not to bring home anything that had been contaminated. Couldn't wait to wash my hands after we got out of there, as we didn't even trust the soap. Next time, I will opt to sleep in my car, though I will find a safer parking lot first.

The actual hotel was as expected for the price, small, smelly, cheap-feel.

The problem is they towed my car because a pass fell off my dash and into passenger floor, where it was still visible. The lot was 3/4 empty, but they still towed my rental car, causing me to miss my flight.

They did not check the license plate versus the registry information from sign-in before towing, where I provided car information. This reeks of a scam between the hotel and towing company.

It was an expensive mistake for me staying there ($175 + 8 addtl hours of travel time), don't make the same mistake!! I should have checked Tripadvisor first...

We checked in August 9th for 2 nights. After about 45 minutes and 3 clerks we got a room on the 3rd floor. We noticed a seedy young lady in the parking lot when we parked and got out our luggage. As we neared our room on the 3rd floor we noticed an overwhelming stench in the hall. Thinking the hall was the problem we entered our room only to find the smell was worse inside. I went back to the office and did get another room on the 2nd floor. The smell wasn't as bad but we could still smell something as this room was right below the original. The uncleanliness of the motel, the professionalism of the staff and the type of clientele we met was totally unacceptable. Did I mention a man came up and told us he was trying to check in but all he had was a prison ID?

It's at a good location next to Denny's and Hometown Buffet, and close to a dozen restaurants and the mall, even a Dollar Tree for needed items. Rooms have been clean for me although the pillows and towels are thin, and the elevator smells. They now have a security guard there who is very professional but they have him harassing and upsetting guests when its unnecessary. I got a loud "police knock" on my door at 2am telling me I had to leave due to having a visitor after 10pm. Then it changed to either I go or she goes, or police will be called. Ofcourse no room refund, $70, would be given. Then my visitor explained she was a registered guest from another room and the guard left politely after confirming that with the desk. I felt that disturbing a guest at 2am with eviction and 15 minutes of explaining and stress based on a suspicion, was overkill. We were not loud or anything, just half sleep in bed. I understand busting a "party in the room" with 8 youths drinking as minors. But a 2am "bust" on 2 sleeping adults? I will not stay again because I wouldn't feel completely relaxed another "mistake" could be made at 2am.
