“Always relaxing”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

We visit this garden nearly every time we are in Madison and are never disappointed at the variety each season brings. In the summer this place is ablaze with blooms, and in Winter it a must see to visit the indoor heated gardens. I've taken many photos and continue to find this to capture with each visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

“Wonderful Gardens”
Reviewed 14 November 2013

Every year we go to the gardens because they are beautiful. From Memorial day to Labor they have a Tram that runs thru out the park for the disabled and elderly. Informative staff and volunteers. Nice area outside the park to sit and have a picnic lunch. Love the butterfly exhibit they have.

This is a lovely place to stroll around and feel that you have stepped into a lovely secret garden. There are so many different types of gardens to experience and do not miss the incredible Thai pavilion! A perfect place to do a walking meditation.

“Impressive Gardens”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a wonderful adventure in the crafting, conserving and presentation of Nature. Beautiful and diverse plants from near and far and a rainbow array of dazzling flowers all arranged among woodland, pond, and meadow settings. As a gardener myself, I'm still in awe of the number of tropical plants that grew to immense size and thrived in an open setting that, during winter months, is anything but tropical.

Within its 16 acre gardens, Olbrich's Thai Pavillion is also a unique spot of stunning beauty.

Their gift shop is quite eclectic and reasonable priced.

Treat yourself to a visit.

“Perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

This is a great place to go enjoy nice weather...or not-so-nice weather - it's open well through the winter! I especially like it for getting ideas for my own garden. Make sure you stop by the gift shop - I was shocked at how cheap everything was!
