The steaks are excellent, and wednesday and friday fish fry (I especially like the crispy lake perch). The hamburgers are good too (my wife tells me), although I never get that far. If you come during the fish fry the line and the crowd gets pretty daunting. The small place is wall-to-wall people with spillover to the outside. The noise level gets up there, so it's not a place to whisper sweet nothings to your date. This is a local tavern, with tons of neighborhood people- in our household we just call the place "The Bar". Local Lake Louie beer on tap, and good brandy old fashioneds-- how Wisconsin can you get? Salad is good, Cole slaw is as it should be, hash browns (especially with onions and cheese) top the chart. Repeating myself, steaks are great. What a good local tavern should be.
