March Schweitzer gave us a truly fantastic and personalized tour. In addition to "must-see" sights such as the Capitol building and the Frank Lloyd Wright Unitarian meeting house, we were introduced to the incredible University of Wisconsin campus as well as many beautiful neighborhoods showcasing the variety of architecture found in Madison. Moreover, we were charmed by so many quirky, unexpected aspects of the city including the Little Free Library movement, the Thai pavilion in Olbrich gardens, and Indian Effigy Mounds.
Despite the somewhat "cooler" weather of January, we were able to experience so many different aspects of the city--all while staying toasty warm in the comfort of her van.
We highly recommend Madison City Tours!
