“Terrific visit to NOLA and La Maison Marigny”

What a terrific stay my husband and I just enjoyed in New Orleans. The city is so much fun and not at all failing its tourists because of the 2005 storm. Everyone said, please encourage tourists to return! The little French quarter shops are open, the street performers are out entertaining folks, and the taxi from the airport is quick and cheap. We enjoyed dinners in the French Quarter and then walked the few blocks to our quiet and comfortable room in the Inn. The owners were away but they asked Frank to assist us and he was so interesting and helpful. We thank him for his warm Louisiana hospitality. The room was complete with all normal amenities and more - drinks and chips 24-7 plus delicious breakfasts. We had the room upstairs in the front with our own large private porch. And the garden just off the kitchen is as beautiful in person as on the website. Katrina's damage is still visible in some areas but NOLA is as much fun as before - so go and enjoy your stay at La Maison Marigny. Christine B., Washington, DC

“Wonderful visit to La Maison Marigny”

La Maison Marigny Bed and Breakfast. What a wonderful experience. John and his staff made us feel so comfortable and at home. His knowledge of New Orleans, the events and locations added to the experience.
La Maison is quality from the the beginning. The bedding linens, towels, cleanliness and breakfast fare are excellent. Location is none better. One can experience the noise and excitement of Bourbon Street and then take a short stroll to a very quiet part of New Orleans to sleep in peace, comfort and safety.
We are already planning our next trip.

“Loved La Maison Marigny”

Our stay at La Maison Marigny was wonderful! The location is one block off the quarter, so the street is very quiet at night. The house is great, with everything listed on the web site and more. I felt very much at home and enjoyed being able to come and go with the key provided. This was my first stay at a B&B and the experience was wonderful! I would highly recommend La Maison Marigny to those traveling to New Orleans. New Orleans is coming back from Katrina. The St. Charles street car is open again and we loved the ride Uptown. The quarter was very safe to walk around in and had no problems at all while we were there. Overall - it was a great get away!!

My sister and I just returned from our stay at La Maison Marigny B&B and were very pleased.
The rooms were beautiful ,clean and comfortable ... the location was good ... and the warm muffins each morning were yummy.
John, the host, could not have been more helpful .. giving us tips on the areas, restaurants & sights .. and even called our cab for us. Thanks!
Liz from New Jersey

“An awesome experience staying at the La Maison Marigny B&B!!!”

My sister (Liz) and I always do a "sister's weekend getaway" once a year, this year we decided to go to New Orleans. This was our first visit to this city and we have to say that what made our vacation perfect was the B&B we stayed at, La Maison Marigny. Not only were the accommodations lovely, clean and comfortable, but we were just a short stroll away from all of the fun attractions going on in the French Quarter. Our host at the B&B (John) was extremely friendly and helpful and a joy to talk with as well. The breakfasts were extremely tasty and plentiful (the freshly made muffins each morning were OUT OF THIS WORLD!). I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who is planning on visiting New Orleans and wants all of the comforts of being near many fun attractions, yet also having tranquility with being in a quiet part of town as well.

“Championship Weekend”

My husband and I stayed at La Maison Marigny for 3 nights during the College Football National Championship Weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the B&B proved to be perfect for a long weekend getaway. The balcony room provided us with a beautiful, comfortable room with a great view of the "quieter" side of Bourbon. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade breakfast each morning.....especially the muffins and the kingcake!! The location of the B&B is absolutely the perfect spot. It is situated perfectly.....in walking distance of the French Quarter and the many festivities that occur there but also just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd...especially since there were such a large number of people in town this particular weekend. We absolutely loved it!

“Christmas In New Orleans”

We just got back from a New Orleans-style Christmas and we love love loved the Maison Marigny. Being a proud Tulanian, I was happy to discover that this cozy b&b near the Frenchman area is owned by a fellow Tulane alum.

We stayed on the second floor in the Balcony room which overlooks a calm, quiet section of Bourbon...the balcony was a great space, especially since it was accessible only from our room. We appreciated the Neutrogena shampoo and bath gel and the shower was great...amazing water pressure and amount of hot water for New Orleans.

Lots of great little touches...Abita in the fridge in our room, Louisiana magazines everywhere, snacks downstairs, and an up-to-date dvd collection for rainy days.

I enjoyed a great lemon poppyseed muffin in the cute green courtyard, while using the complimentary wi-fi, even! The pound cake/strawberry/Nutella breakfast panini was amazing--and the delicious pumpkin bread got us through the late night munchies.

We highly recommend this b&b and hope to stay here again...
