“Ever Wondered How It Feels To Be Royalty?”

Well, that's exactly what you'll feel like at La Maison Marigny. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost Southern hospitality. Each room is luxuriously appointed and there's plenty of room to be comfortable. The entire house is kept neat as a pin, and yet, you're never bothered by the "sounds" of maid service as is the case in large chains. You're never more than a short walk to any number of French Quarter attractions. Be prepared to "get lost in a kinder, gentler time" as you step back in time to the way inkeepers once treated guests everywhere. As far as we're concerned, there is no other lodging in the New Orleans area! This is FIVE STAR - at it's finest!

“great stay!”
Reviewed 21 October 2004

I never thought that a B&B could be that good.
The house itself is beautiful, situated in a quiet area of the french quarter. The rooms are nicely decorated and there were lots of amenities.
The host (john) has been great.
I definitely wanna come back to this place.

“A home away from home!”
Reviewed 5 October 2004 for a stay in September 2004

We chose La Maison Marigny for our honeymoon and it was a great choice! The location could not have been better and the B&B exceeded our expectations. John was a super host and provided us with all the information we needed in order to make sure we saw the best of what New Orleans had to offer. We never left "home" without the map he provided us on the first day and we had an inside track with all the restaurant and entertainment recommendations. We plan to visit the Crescent City again and we'll definitely plan our trip around La Maison Marigny's room availability. Thanks for making sure our honeymoon was a big success!

“WOW!”
Reviewed 13 September 2004

WOW! My only trepidation on giving a 5-star review is that it may make it more difficult to get a future reservation at La Maison Marigny! Just returned from a four day stay and I must say it was outstanding. John and Dewey pull out all of the stops, from the beautiful antique-filled rooms to the yummy breakfasts. Truly felt like I was staying with a (rich) relative - although none in my family have such good taste! Perfectly situated for exploring New Orleans as well - will definitely be back.

“Saw a whole new side of NOLA”
Reviewed 9 September 2004

Our stay at The Marigny made our trip. Close enough to walk to all the fun but just far enough to escape the madness. The surrounding neighborhood offered us a refreshing new view of New Orleans. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. The service was superb. La Maison Marigny is by far the best B&B I've ever visited. Thank you, John & Dewey!

“Top Notch B&B”
Reviewed 6 September 2004

John has been the most gracious and attentive host during my stay here. The rooms, decor and ambience are inviting and comfortable. The B&B has a great location on Bourbon Street. It is far enough away from the bustle of the bars to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to traverse the French Quarter without the added expense of rental cars and/or Taxis. I would recommend this establishment to any of my friends.
