Other than the WiFi not working and requiring speaking with a tech, this hotel was a perfect choice. The location is perfect as it is not in the French Quarters and therefore quiet for a good night's sleep. It is walking distance to everywhere you want to go in NOLA. The restaurant is fantastic.

My partner and I stayed at this lovely and memorable hotel in March, 2014 for a week. We were very pleased with the service provided but especially fond of the interior decor. It allowed us to leave our trip with very fond memories of a stay that shall forever be a part of our history together.

Room Tip: King Sized Bed overlooking the main street.

After my 5th stay at the Roosevelt I can truly say that this hotel is nothing short of magnificent. Not only is the hotel beautiful but also perfectly located (close enough but set back so not too loud, for New orleans). The beds are SO comfortable, the food is delicious and the amenities are well kept. However, it is the staff that truly makes the Roosevelt the best hotel in the world. They are SO helpful. The best customer service I have ever experienced!! Will definitely be back.

Absolute favorite hotel in NOLA. Historic, clean, friendly staff, close to everything, great restaurants, bars and spa. Rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable. They even come by the room every night and turn down the beds, leave mints on your pillows and pull robes and slippers out for you and lay them on bed. Can't wait to go back!

Entering this grand hotel is like stepping back in time. The chandeliers sparkled like Swarvoski crystals, the flower arrangements wowed in design and fragrance. Checking in was a breeze, with a very happy, and accommodating staff at the front desk. I had talked to Gabriel the day before and requested an upper level floor away from the elevator. Our king bedroom suite had a sitting room, a view of the pool and one of the most comfortable beds! The shower head had plenty of jets and was very relaxing. Gabriel, thank you so much for your kind note and the champagne! What a great surprise. Also, housekeeping did a fantastic job, very unobtrusive. I'm looking forward to my next visit to this lovely property to enjoy the spa and other amenities.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quiet and very private.

If you enjoy being pampered in a historic setting, it doesn't get much better than this. My family and I spent Easter in New Orleans and stayed at this beautiful hotel. It's very convenient to the French Quarter and is full of surprises from a great (and historic) bar (Hilton Honors members get free drink coupons upon registration which is good when the drinks cost $12-15 each), complimentary shoe shines, a beautiful roof top pool, great food options, a very nice spa, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. I strongly recommend going the extra mile for a suite - the amenities are worth the upgrade. I looked and looked to see if there was ever any history of bed bugs and couldn't find anything in that regard. Overall, a great experience!

Room Tip: Splurge for a suite!

This was my first time staying at this particular hotel. Had a little trouble at check in, with the room not being ready and some unexpected charges. Didn't expect a "tourist tax", with only living about an hour away! But overall the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was great. The location is perfect if you plan on going out on Bourbon!
