The owners were really helpful in getting us airport transport and daily trolly/bus passes and recommendations for walking tours (and walking tour apps) and restaurants. Every restaurant they recommended was amazing. We appreciated recommendations from people who have lived many years in the area. There are a few great restaurants walking dist. from here - also a short walk to the great shops on magazine st. and the charles st. trolley and the garden dist. Also close to Tulane (seems like a lot of visiting parents stay here).
The rooms were really nice, updated, great bathrooms... with a nice courtyard (with a fridge that you can use or buy wine/soda from). Great for couples (probably not good for kids) but also would be good for a girls weekend (our room had 2 stories - each with a big bed). We enjoyed chatting with everyone at break fast (which was very good). we arrived the day a big storm was supposed to hit and they assured us it would take a turn and weather would be great -- they were right!
