We visit N.O. Regularly and always make a stop at Le Bayou. Today we had lunch, with my wife having a wonderful fried oyster " Po Boy ", a New Orleans standard. I had an unbelievable tray of crawfish, redskin potatoes, corn on the cob, onions and an added piece of andouille sausage. Our server, Christina, was fun, attentive and very helpful.

Watch the crazy of Bourbon Street pass by in this little but good eatery...be careful though I saw two trays of drinks get dropped ON customers while we were there. Entertaining but only cause it didn't happen to us. The steak was perfectly cooked and I loved the sauce on the Shrimp yaya but by far the best thing we ate here was the Alligator tail. Do not let the fact that you aren't sure because hey its alligator stop you from trying this dish it is fabulous and tasted to me like a cross between chicken and calamari.

If you eat dinner here be careful of falling beads when you enter and exit there is a gallery immediately overhead

the food and the people- this place is on Bourbon-and we usually avoid Bourbon St for dinner - however, we thought we would try this place-very clean and dozen oysters only $13- it we very good-but the whole experience was just made better by our waitress Christina- we mentioned to her we love to people watch-and before you knew it we were on a private balcony overlooking Bourbon St-with our private waitress--what a great time-we will be back

We found this restaurant just walking on Bourbon Street. Glad we did. We tried oysters on our first visit, then had a sandwich and chicken/jambalaya on our second visit. Both times the food was delicious. We also had good service. The bloody mary (spicy) we ordered was to die for, so yummy. My fiancé had never had oysters before and he actually liked them. Very good place to eat and people watch. Will go again!
