“Great Staff, Great Hotel, Great Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

Although I travel a lot I do not write many reviews, but the stay I had at this hotel prompted me to write one. From the moment we entered this hotel we felt welcomed. It was my Birthday weekend and also Mardi Gras so I was surprised we received a king suite upgrade but was very delighted. What a beautiful room. This was the perfect location to visit the parades and still venture off into the French quarter. By far the staff here are exemplary. You can see they are "tested" with all kinds of people in different forms of sobriety during Mardi Gras and from what I saw they handled everyone with dignity and patience. The staff even took the time during these very busy days to sign a Birthday card for me and make a basket of goodies to snack on! This was our first Mardi Gras and we plan to be back again next year and will definitely stay here again! Thank You ~ Janci, Angelle, Lucie, Susan, Mallory, Kami, KP, Latrenda, Isaac, Michelle, Tiffany, Heather, Teresa and Jordan. Your doing a great job!

Incredibly helpful and kind staff. Every request was met with near immediate responses. Room was nice and hotel conveniently located. Our only regret was that the room was slightly musty on entering. The free breakfast was acceptable. Many, many outstanding restaurants nearby.

Our room was fabulous. It was a double queen room on the 10th floor and it was so spacious and nice. It was very elegant and clean. The valet service was incredibly helpful although pricey, it made our stay very convenient. Easy walking distance to Canal and even the French Quarter even with little 5 year old legs with us. Breakfast was great, very busy, but fresh and good. The waffle iron had quite the line and they would benefit from a couple more for peak hours. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We booked this room after staying at a great Hampton Inn in Houston Medical area. I factored in the cost of a good breakfast which they offered. I loved everything about it the lady at the front desk was accommodating to put us on the same floor. The security is tight ( you have to have your key card to access any floor from the elevator )
When you stay in New Orleans you might as well bite the bullet and valet park. I know my car will be secure, we walk or ride the trolley anyway. Great app "NOLA Transit"

The hotel is off a one way street that essentially turns into Bourbon street. no on site parking. We used valet for about $30 dollars a day, there is a garage about 1.5 blocks away but valet is easy and convenient if you are not planning on driving around. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff! After 11pm room key is need to open front doors and work elevators.

Recommend bringing snacks & drinks to have when you get back to your room...there is a fridge if you need it.

If you have never been to Bourbon St be forewarned it stinks and is dirty. Girls-high heels not recommended

We spent 6 nights there during the Carnival. It is a 5min walk from Bourbon st and all the carnival activities. The staff is very efficient to check in and had given us the room they had promised. The room is spacious with a fridge, a coffee machine, a safe that can contain a laptop.
The breakfast is quite good but unfortunately served in plastic plates. You have access to hot drinks for free all day long.
If you want to enjoy the carnival this is an excellent place to go.
