It's a nice hotel with a great location but it's not worth $300+/night for the room plus another #40/night for parking in the off season. The staff was friendly and worked quickly to meet our few needs. Only 2 blocks from Canal Street is a plus but I would gladly stay a few blockers further away for half the price and walk an extra 5-10 minutes next time.

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent Breakfast. The hotel is right on the streetcar route, so easy to visit the Audubon Zoo. The only downside is having to pay extra for parking and no swimming pool, but I think this is pretty standard for an in-town hotel.

Overall experience was great! Room was a bit stuffy due to coudlnt'get the thermostat adjusted toa comfortable temp. Also, the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be professionally cleaned or replaced. The hotel was very clean, but the carpet has an "old" smell.

Book ended a cruise and stayed before and after cruise fit a couple of days. Can't say enough good things about the staff. Very friendly. Received an upgrade in 1st half of stay to suite. Large and very comfortable. At back end of trip had a regular room and still very large. Beds are well Hampton Inn Comfortable. Great location as it's only a block from the French quarter but very quite because it's not in the French quartet. We will stay here again.

I've stayed here several times. I love the location! It's a typical Hampton Inn you can expect a clean room with all the convinces good service and NO problems with the room. Love the location. So close to Bourbon Street and what you go to New Orleans for...the rooms are smaller than most Hampton Inns but nice. I admit I hate paying the extra parking fee here but you'll pay that no matter where you stay in New Orleans.

Although I travel a lot I do not write many reviews, but the stay I had at this hotel prompted me to write one. From the moment we entered this hotel we felt welcomed. It was my Birthday weekend and also Mardi Gras so I was surprised we received a king suite upgrade but was very delighted. What a beautiful room. This was the perfect location to visit the parades and still venture off into the French quarter. By far the staff here are exemplary. You can see they are "tested" with all kinds of people in different forms of sobriety during Mardi Gras and from what I saw they handled everyone with dignity and patience. The staff even took the time during these very busy days to sign a Birthday card for me and make a basket of goodies to snack on! This was our first Mardi Gras and we plan to be back again next year and will definitely stay here again!
