Spent the week after Mardi Gras here and had a wonderful time. The house is located in the "Historic District" with several well known restaurants (Sant Fe, Snug Harbour, Port of Call) within a few blocks. Karen, the owner/hostess was great. Since it was Valentine's Week, she had a dozen roses waiting in the room for our arrival.
Also, she was very knowledgeable about not only the immediate area, but the city as well. We checked out a great little place to eat, Le Penniche, that she recommended and we were not disappointed. The room, while not that large, was extremely clean and well stocked with coffee and juice. Fresh muffins, danishes, and fruit were delivered every day.
Planning on staying there on my next visit.
