Three friends and myself stayed at this hotel for a 2-night stay (May 29th-May 31st). We arrived in New Orleans 8 hours before our check-in time (7:00am), and left the city 9 hours after our check-out time (10:00pm), during which time the FRIENDLY STAFF members were more than willing to keep our bags safe. Every single staff member that I ran into provided city suggestions as well as helpful and informative tips about areas of interest. Location was CONVENIENTLY located between the busy portions of Bourbon St and Frenchman St, in a quieter residential area of the French Quarter. One block away was a convenience store (that sells both liquor and quick food options) as well as a pharmacy. Room had two COMFORTABLE queen beds, which was much better than most hotels that had two double beds. Some of these reviews mention small rooms, but our room was more than accommodating for 4 people... the only thing that was small was the shower, but even as a 5'11" 225lb man it was only a minor set-back. I loved this hotel's unique style of having the rooms on the borders of the outdoor courtyard. It helped us hear when the rain started and stopped. It was a comfortable environment, although having that outside element allows for wildlife and mold to occur, especially since it was raining before we got there and a little while we were there. With that being said, bring sandals and make sure you leave both doors closed and you will not have a problem. The ONLY thing I wish the room had was a refrigerator, however there was a jacuzzi, coffee machine, ice machine, hair dryer, and friendly housekeeping. I would easily stay at this hotel again, GREAT experience, GREAT employees, GREAT location.
