“GREAT staff and comfortable rooms”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Three friends and myself stayed at this hotel for a 2-night stay (May 29th-May 31st). We arrived in New Orleans 8 hours before our check-in time (7:00am), and left the city 9 hours after our check-out time (10:00pm), during which time the FRIENDLY STAFF members were more than willing to keep our bags safe. Every single staff member that I ran into provided city suggestions as well as helpful and informative tips about areas of interest. Location was CONVENIENTLY located between the busy portions of Bourbon St and Frenchman St, in a quieter residential area of the French Quarter. One block away was a convenience store (that sells both liquor and quick food options) as well as a pharmacy. Room had two COMFORTABLE queen beds, which was much better than most hotels that had two double beds. Some of these reviews mention small rooms, but our room was more than accommodating for 4 people... the only thing that was small was the shower, but even as a 5'11" 225lb man it was only a minor set-back. I loved this hotel's unique style of having the rooms on the borders of the outdoor courtyard. It helped us hear when the rain started and stopped. It was a comfortable environment, although having that outside element allows for wildlife and mold to occur, especially since it was raining before we got there and a little while we were there. With that being said, bring sandals and make sure you leave both doors closed and you will not have a problem. The ONLY thing I wish the room had was a refrigerator, however there was a jacuzzi, coffee machine, ice machine, hair dryer, and friendly housekeeping. I would easily stay at this hotel again, GREAT experience, GREAT employees, GREAT location.

For low-maintenance travellers, this is a great little place. If you need help, advice and assistance re your visit to New Orleans, probably best to stay in a hotel. There is no room information or locale information. We got an upstairs room with a floor that sloped about 20cm from one side to the other. All part of the charm. One day we hadn't vacated our room before 11am, and housekeeping went home - no clean towels, no serviced room. Very B&B. AC and fan, comfy bed, small shower but great pressure and nice and hot. Would stay again.

Cutest little inn in the French Quarter, but feels like a hotel as it has a top notch mad service, great beds, great aircon, coffee and tea in the room and free wifi.

The staff are lovely (though the guy who checked me in ignored me whilst he received a pizza delivery).

This place is clan, cute and simply could not be in a better spot.

Room Tip: We loved the loft room.

The Inn on Ursulines is a great jumping off point for the French Quarter and the rest of New Orleans as well. My girlfriend and I stayed a comfortable 4 nights and our experience was great! The room was very clean and cool. The room came equipped with it's on AC unit and a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker. Some minor "nitpick" items: bed was a bit small, a full I believe and the doors separating the bathroom from the rest of the suite were slatted, so it didn't provide optimum privacy. Also, the hot tub temperature wasn't the hottest. Otherwise everything was fantastic, the service was great, it was quiet (although located in the French Quarter), the quart yard was quaint and we had a great, relaxing say. It's definitely a great place to stay if you want to be in the French Quarter but a bit off of the beaten path.

A very good location on Urlsulines toward the end of Bourbon. The Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop is nearby. If you want a polyester perfect cookie cutter room this is not the place. These are old buildings which have had some well done upgrades. Good bathroom, good air conditioner, great bed. Staff was wonderful, helpful and informative. We were on the street side and there was not enough noise which kept from a good nights rest. Le Croissant d'Or down the street was the breakfast place for us on 3 mornings. The group owns other similar properties we may check out on our next trip but the location of Urluslines was perfect for us.

Room Tip: Stairs could be a problem for some. Ask for gound floor room.

We absolutely loved this quaint little guest house!! It was tastefully updated without losing it's charm! The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly! It's walking distance to just about any where, but bring good walking shoes! We love the city of New Orleans, and can't wait to bring our friends back with us to this lovely Guesthouse!

Spent the weekend here. Carrie Sue greeted us and the place was perfect for us; two adults and no children. Small and intimate, wonderfully clean and comfortable and the best location. Hot tub was a plus. Get a room that faces the courtyard. It was quiet and the bed was comfy. Housekeeping was spot on. We will return...
