Stayed here for 5 days during a convention. Hotel in right across the street from the convention center, very convenient. The "warehouse suites" we stayed are in need of an update. The staff made it easy to see past that and made our stay truly like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this property and it will be my hotel of choice in the future.

My family and I LOVE this hotel. We've stayed here twice now, both before each of our cruises and couldn't have had a better stay. There's a shuttle to the cruise port, which is fairly close, which was a great amenity to us since we parked our car here. After your cruise, they pick you up and take you back to the hotel to get your car. Simple! The breakfast is always delicious, there's lots of choices from hot options to cereal and fruit. Both times, we arrived early to our check in (it just happened that way from traveling) and we were accommodated as soon as possible. Rooms are really nice, very spacious and clean. They have televisions in every room with plenty of channel choices. Bathrooms are very clean as well. Anytime we come to New Orleans, we will always stay here!

It is about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown NOLA, but very do-able! You'll see a lot of cool stuff on your way too. Lots of places to get drinks and grab a bite to eat and of course do some shopping as well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good place to stay before their cruise!

Room Tip: We had a corner room the most recent time we were there and it had a lovely view of the city plus th...

Positive, Positive, Positive in every way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My only place I ever stay when I visit New Orleans. Michael and his staff are awesome and accomodating.Michael is friendly and very helpful. He runs a "tight ship" at this hotel and his staff admires him. Bellmen are prompt and friendly too. Derrick was our bellmen and was so personable and helpful. Front desk is over the top and help so much. The conceirge is Mr. Perry and a very kind man who seeks to help every way possible. I like staying here because its close to my conferences at the Convention Center, atmosphere, staff, very clean, rooms are nice, and the decor makes you feel like you are at home. Room Tip: Ive stayed here several times and its a quiet and clean hotel.

Hotel was pretty good. The best thing about it was that it is super close to the convention center. Definitely a good place to stay for someone that is doing business at the convention center. Nice places to eat that are close to the hotel. No problem staying here for the right reason

I just read a negative review here.....so I needed to write. I saw the cheerleaders checking in when we were checking out. There was a full house before they arrived, so it was a tight turnover for the rooms. It is a shame that she had a bad experience, because ours was such a positive one. The service was excellent. Rooms were nice and very clean. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices and I liked having 24 hour coffee bar. I was very surprised to see how pretty the lobby of this hotel was. This hotel is directly across from the Convention Center....so it was very convenient for attending a convention. It is not where the action is....French Quarter....but the walk was safe and pleasant. Thanks, Hampton, for a very nice stay.

The hotel was as fabulous as I remember from a previous trip to New Orleans. Our room was always immaculate when we came "home" at the end of the day, and the breakfast was such a great variety. Thank you to your fabulous staff for all they did for our group!

Room Tip: We enjoyed our suite immensely. It was well worth the additional price.

We had a great stay at the Hampton. The suites are HUGE! I really loved the full fridge/freezer combo. The breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea is nice touch too! The staff at check in were extremely polite and courteous. I will stay here again!
