“Great boutique hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 March 2014

Great central location, nice outside courtyard with pool, bar with friendly servers, breakfast and nice (but cozy) rooms. This hotel was perfect for a 4 day get-away. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a small patio overlooking the courtyard

We stayed here for 3 nights in late February 2014 (at the beginning of Mardi Gras season) and were very pleased. The hotel is a half block off Bourbon St. and has stylish and comfortable rooms, a nice bar and courtyard patio area. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage plus the regular continental fare (cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruits, etc.). The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, between Bourbon St and Royal and within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants, cafés, shops, bars and the French Market area. The hotel and courtyard patio are surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to Bourbon St.

We stayed at Le Marias hotel Feb 19-21. The hotel is located between Bourbon Street and Royal Street, but the street was very quiet. The Hotel was very nice, clean, accommodating. They serve breakfast in the morning which was great and they give you 2 drink tickets for the bar, coffee and fruit water is available all day. There is a heated salt pool which we did not use but it was nice to set out and catch some rays. If you want to take any tours inquire at the desk as they can book some of them for you and get you an additional discount and some of the tours pick you up at the front door at no additional cost. We took the Swamp Tour which was fun. We had booked the Katrina Tour but cancelled because we decided to see the WWII Museum instead. We ate at Muriel's and Arnuad's both awesome, make sure you take in some local food. There is so much to do within walking distance that you don't need a car or need a taxi. This hotel was awesome and we would stay again if we were to visit the city again!

Room Tip: Our room was away from the elevators so they were very quiet.

This hotel is an amazing find! It's in a great location and centrally located to everything. The staff is very attentive at the front desk. Full breakfast is included daily. The bar is also a great place to have a drink and unwind. I worried that the location would be a problem close to Bourben St. but it was not an issue. Only problem I found was that the bathroom shower was poorly designed and it tended to flood the floor but it was easily cleaned up. The room was modern and beautiful. Very clean! Just wished housekeeping would've came by to freshen the room with towels, etc during the day. All in all, this place was great and I will be back!

Great hotel with helpful staff.

Internet service is a bonus.

Breakfast was a little bland but ok for "free". Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at the pool side of the building so very quiet overlooking the pool. Pool was small but nice to dip your toes in after walking all day.

Would stay here again for sure.

Nice touch by the hotel as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary they gave us a bottle of champagne.

One word: exceptional! Nothing but good things to say about Hotel Le Marais. Stayed pre and post cruise recently. Excellent location in the quarter....close to everything but away from the noise at night. Great staff...great breakfast...great everything! Chic decor....modern....Thinking of booking? Do it!

We just returned from staying at Hotel Le Marais in New Orleans and highly recommend it. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pierre at the front desk always gave us great advice and took good care of us - a very personal touch. The breakfast was surprisingly excellent, with amazing bacon! Great location just off of Bourbon Street, but far enough away to be quiet. Within walking distance of most things you'll want to do. Two blocks from the streetcar to venture further away.
