This was our first visit to New Orleans and we chose Le Marais because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. We arrived around 1:30, and we were informed that our room was not ready, Mr.Pierre informed us that we would get a call when the room was available. We left our bags and went on our way to explore. I called at 4:00pm because I still had not received a call and was informed that it would be 30 more minutes, and that they would call. Well 30 minutes passes and no call. We went to the hotel and were informed that the room was ready, which really upset me because we were not called, AND their published check-in time is 3pm.
The hotel is clean, we were in room 409, which has a balcony facing the pool. The bathroom is tight, and the black tile makes it very easy to notice any dirt spots. The drink coupons are a nice touch and so is the breakfast. Would I stay here again, not sure yet. Just be advised that your room may not be ready for your arrival.More
