We thoroughly enjoyed our New Orleans sandwich and gumbo. The service was just fine and the food was a good value.

My title is intentionally ambiguous.
This place is just . . . . average.
It is like a step back in time.
Our server, Milissa, did a fine job.
But the food, the atmosphere, the whole experience was just . . . . average.
I marked them down on "value" because I thought they had a little higher prices than warranted - but by no means a rip-off.
I would go back but wouldn't make a special trip to go there.
place has been there for like 90 years so they must be doing something right. the place looks like a classic 1950's diner - very nostalgic.
ordered food to go - server was very polite and helpful
everything was delicious and prices were affordable - for that area.
Small restaurant with small staff but very friendly and the food was delicious! My hubby said the jambalaya was some of the best he has had and the open face roast beef was so good I ate my whole plate!
this was our first stop. staff was very friendly. small place. we had the Jambalaya, and Red Beans and rice. the bring out warm bread to keep you occupied. small bar inside as well. great food/service
