While visiting a friend I was told we had to experience Rock 'N Bowl since words would not do it justice. Exactly. Imagine a large, open, wooden floored gym with a stage at one end. That somewhat gives you a picture of this unique environment. As you walk down the entry hall you see posters of music past but your concentration is pushed aside by the live rock coming from around the corner. Go in and you are met with a Kiss costumed band doing, on this trip, a Michael Jackson medley. The music was loud and lively, the crowd mixed between dancers, listeners, and swayers. Plenty of tables to sit around and then, in between riffs, the sound of pins being knocked down on one of the 20 or so bowling alleys to the left. Real bowling - all ages allowed - real music, and real good prices for real good beer. I haven't yet figured out the Mary Statue in the hallway, but that's a starter question for my next visit. Great place for a party; from live music to throwing things at stationary pins, what more do you need?
