Truly a bargin in New Orleans!!!! The suites are spacious stayed 3 nights. We had a one bedrom king suite in the corner. The hotel has washer and dryer available which is great when traveling with small children. They also have a managers reception nightly along with full hot breakfast. The staff was awesome and went above and beyond to provide excellent service to my family. 4 blocks to the French Quarter. Street car is right outside the hotels as well as two bus lines.

We stayed at this property 4 nights on all the good reviews from Trip Advisor.
The front desk greeted us very pleasantly and upgraded us to a suite room as it was our Anniversary and rooms were available.
The room was spacious to sit in the living area watch tv, play cards, drink wine :) relax feet after lots of walking.the rooms are not fancy decor but average and clean.
We took advantage of the morning breakfast, I would suggest changing the menu as every day of 4 it was the same, grits and gravy, scrambled wet eggs, sausage patty, some days potato hash browns not cooked all the way.cereal but it was complimentary so I will still give the hotel high recommendation still. The morning staff at the breakfast area was so pleasant and enjoying life
The manager came by several times on our stay to see how guests were doing,

The common area lobby where guests mingle was inviting and clean and decorated lovely. They had a grand piano in the lobby but never saw anyone playing it.
We stayed 2 nights of the Quarter festival so those nights were pretty high but compared to FQ we did well and the extra walking to this hotel was worth the savings and the other 2 nights more reasonable.
We walked back from the FQ 6pm-8:30pm every night and never saw any issues with safety. We enjoyed the kickback 3 of 4 nights and the 3 comp cocktails and light snacks were nice touch,
The hotel was just over a block from jazz in the park wednesdays which we really enjoyed,
There is a large Rousse's behind the hotel a few blocks to stock up on refreshments and snacks.

The hotel called a private cab back for us to the airport and went in style with a nice black Lincoln navigator rather then a united cab. The driver was very personable.

It was nice to chat with one of the managers that was a Fellow Ontario Canadian who relocated with his wife in tourism in NOLA, hello to you!

I would defiantly recommend this hotel and was nice to be away from all the hustle bustle.

From the moment we entered it became a pleasant stay. All of the staff, from housekeeping,to front desk to management could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast & "dinner" were a hit w/the granddaughters & myself. Our room, & all of the hotel, was very clean. I appreciated the security features--elevator does not move without your room key. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the French Quarter. The streetcar stops next to the hotel if one doesn't want to walk but we felt safe & walked. Excellent value, especially for families.

Stayed 4 nights in early April.........loved the location, property was clean, staff was very friendly, great breakfast, and we enjoyed the evening kickback food & drinks, too. It's an easy 1/2 block walk to the St Charles streetcar to the WWI Museum and Garden District; it's a 1-1/2 block walk to the St Charles streetcar to the French Quarter. We felt safe walking to the FQ, too. They just opened a parking lot for folks arriving by rental car. We flew to NO and hopped on the Jet Service E2 bus.........got off at Poydras St and walked 4 blocks to the Drury Inn for $2 each instead of spending $40 on a cab or shuttle. We scheduled two tours that picked us up at the hotel lobby door.........very convenient. We highly recommend you consider the Drury Inn & Suites on Poydras St when you visit New Orleans.

Room Tip: We had room #601...........end of hall.......quiet.......window view to street level........very com...

We stayed for business meeting and brought the family. The hotel is under some construction but it didn't bother our stay. Loved that the location was off the craziness of New Orleans so I felt ok walking around with the kids near the hotel. The lobby is very nice, the breakfast and kickback in the evening are perfect to start and end the day. Kids loved all the appetizers and waffles in the morning. Spent a few nights on the rooftop pool. The room was nice and spacious. Would recommend and stay again, especially if you have a family.

Just came back from NOLA....this is a great hotel....conveniently located...awesome staff!!!!! They were ALWAYS so helpful. I'm guessing it will be even better when the new section opens up soon. The only drawback was that the breakfast/evening snack area becomes quite crowded at times, because this place is popular with groups. But, it still worked! We had a great time!

The New Orleans Drury Inn's team done a great job. From the time we checked in, to the time we checked out we were very comfortable. We did not partake in the evening kickback,(Way to many fine restaurants In NOLA) but we did take in the buffet breakfast in the morning, and it was very good. A special shoutout to Jaimie and Renaldo behind the front desk, they were very helpful.. Highly recommended
