“There's much better close by.”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

This place has a waiter who is nice, but not very competent, and he had every table in the place. People were leaving because of the wait. Food is okay, nothing to write home about. Service slow. Not even a good diner atmosphere. Go to the Palace.

“Quick breakfast during Jazzfest”
Reviewed 5 May 2014 via mobile

A friend and I stopped in for breakfast during Jazzfest, this location has a history of spotty service and long wait times but we experienced none of that. The menu is simple, covers most bases and is reasonably priced. There was only 1 person working the floor and 2 cooking but out food came out pretty quickly and was cooked just fine.

You don't be blown away by this place but it's not a bad options for a quick simple breakfast.

“Hidden Gem!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

This little place on Dauphine was around the corner from our hotel on Canal. Open only for breakfast/lunch. Very warm greeting and friendly/speedy service from the owner/manager/front guy. Super cheap and high quality homestyle cooking. Excellent hash browns for grits country! Will definitely go back on our next visit.

“Good diner food ”
Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The (owner?) was a friendly man who took our order right away and carried chit chat with all the guests. We had omlets and toast. It is a great diner atmosphere to have breakfast and hit the spot. Good for the "morning after" breakfast of a chili and cheese omlet, OJ, and coffee. :)

“Great food and great service”
Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

My husband and I came here on our last morning in New Orleans. The food was amazing. Homemade biscuits and pancakes. But most of all, Kevin was amazing. He was pleasant, kind, and helpful. A person who genuinely loves coming in to work each morning. Thank you Kevin and NOSH!
