My husband and I stayed in the queen suite for 3 days. We had a great time. The bed was comfortable and the large bath tub was fantastic. The staff was amazing. We mostly spoke with a gentleman by the name of Dwayne (spelling?). He was so helpful! Like other reviewers have mentioned, the stairways are narrow and a little steep so navigating them with large bags can be a little difficult. You can't hear the noise of bourbon street from the hotel, but the trash collectors in the morning can be a little noisy. The water pressure in the room was also a little low, but overall it was a great stay. If my husband and I return to New Orleans , we would certainly stay here again.

Great stay at this hotel and some of the friendliest staff around. Hotel was clean and just far enough off Bourbon to sleep peacefully. I stayed in the smallest room there "74" which by European standards, was normal size. For a single person, it really is all you need as I didn't spend much time besides sleeping in the room - Bourbon doesn't close :)

Special shout out to the staff for being some of the friendliest folks I've met while travelling and explaining some grat local spots in the area (even supplied a map!)

Room Tip: If solo - don't be scared off from room 74! It cools quickly and has a comfy bed. If 2 or more p...

My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends. We had the Marie Laveau Suite. It was a great room! We loved the location. We had a small courtyard that was shared with other rooms. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again when visiting New Orleans.

I am not giving a 5 stars because of the bed. Too small for 2 adults. Other than that, the place is charming, with old real wood floors, really good service, friendly personal. Good choice just a 3 blocks away from Bourbon St.

We actually got moved to this hotel due to the air conditioning going out in our hotel room at the Inn on St. Peter. The Inn on St. Ann gave us an upgraded suite that was perfect for our last night in NOLA. The air worked great and the room had it's very own private balcony. I would highly suggest this hotel and ask for the Armstrong Suite! Pricing is excellent for this type of hotel as well and they offer discounts quite often(buy 2 nts get the 3rd for FREE)

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn on St. Anne! The location was close enough for a short 3-5 min walk to Bourbon St and the French Quarter. I liked the location because it was far enough away from the action to get some peaceful sleep.
Built in 1830, the Inn had the charm I expected and I was pleasantly surprised at the upgrades in the room. The bathroom was small, which was expected from an 1830's building but was upgraded and very nice.
We stayed on the 2nd floor which required us to haul our luggage up the old rickety but solid staircase. If you have a lot of luggage or physical limitations, I recommend that you book a room on the 1st floor if possible.
All of the employees were extremely pleasant and helpful!
They offer free coffee (single cup - keurig style) and fruit in the lobby in addition to single cup brewers in the room. We didn't use the WiFi or any other amenities but saw others using WiFi in the lobby.
Parking was a little strange as we were told to park in a parking structure for $20 per night (cash payment up front) that was about a 10-15 min walk from the hotel but we didn't have to use the car after we parked it because everything is in walking distance.
Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience at the Inn on St Ann with us. We are pleased you found our staff and location to be so great and enjoyed your time in New Orleans. We apologize if you were not made aware that the shutters can be opened, some of our guests prefer they remain closed which is probably why you found them closed at the time of check-in. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to have you back again upon your next visit to New Orleans!
