My mother and I stayed here on a recent stop during our 10 day road trip. I had chosen this by the wonderful reviews and it definitely lived up! Matthew and Melanie are a delight and so helpful! The room was wonderful and breakfast was delicious! We got to try an array of local favorites while enjoying a cup if New Orleans coffee and some nice conversation. We definitely felt that it was our "home" during our stay. The other guests were also very nice to swap stories with.
The location is nice because you aren't right in the heart of all of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to walk about 30 minutes to the French quarter or hop on the bus that only costs $1.25.
The rooms are so unique and tastefully decorated like nothing you've seen before. You'll want to spend some time just looking around at the art work and decor because it's pretty neat!
Overall, we were EXTREMELY pleased with our stay here and would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here ourselves again!
Matthew and Melanie are lovely hosts and truly make this experience a wonderful one!
