Rented bikes for Jazz Fest this year... Service was great. My friend had a flat tire on her bike at the fairgrounds, I left a message & Gustavo got back to me within an hour
to set up a time to meet to repair tire.. they were unable to repair & gave her a different bike to use... Will definitely use them next year

We rented bikes a few times on this trip and this company BY FAR offered the best bikes. The bikes were obviously well cared for and in great working order. You could tell it was a full service bike shop because of the service they offered even making sure they bike seats were at the right hight which wasn't the case everywhere. They also provided locks, helmets, baskets, bells, bike lights and bottle holders for the bikes. The garden district was also a beautiful place to ride and they provided bio maps of the whole city which was nice.

We've been to New Orleans 6 times in the last four years, visiting our son while he attended Tulane. We've rented bikes at least three times, because it is a great way to get around the city.

This last trip, for graduation, we rented two cruiser bikes from Gustavo at A Musing Bikes (Name comes from the fact that it is on Terpsichore Street - Terpsichore is one of the muses in Greek Mythology - other streets in that area are names for other muses.)

Our choice was based on reviews from another travel site and we were more than pleased. The store is small and located in the lower garden district, just off Magazine Street. The bikes were in great shape. The price of $30 per day for the first two days and $15 per day after that, included helmet, lock, basket, front and back lights. Another more well known rental place has the same initial rental price, but charges extra for each of the extras.

Gustavo was so pleasant to work with and I more than happily give him and his store 5 Trip Advisor green circles.

p.s. Great places to bike are: around Audubon Park, City Park (with a stop for a visit to the free Scuplture Garden), Bike path on top of the bike levee.
