Yet another business dinner! chose Arnauds while wandering through French Quarter...we wanted an upscale, live jazz experience...we got it! The team was so kind and made it a wonderful evening.....started with a mix of raw and baked oysters...fabulous!!! I was so full from two days of new orleans eating that I went for some stuffed mushrooms...soooo good! Stuffed with grapes, boursin and romano......other diners had the black drum, gumbo and signature salads...desserts were a must...the strawberries Arnaud were amazing!! Port drenched strawberries with best whipping cream I have ever had!! Service was so great...attentive, good wine reccommendations....thank you!!

Fish Ponchartrain....delicious. Oyster sampler...delicious. Everyone in our large group loved their meals. The cocktails were very good, also. Highly recommend Arnaud's for a special dinner.
Oh, must not forget to mention the service. Our waiter was exceptional!

This is a wonderful restaurant! The food was excellent, the service was perfect. This was a special business dinner hosted by our CEO and Brand executives for the investors and owners for 30 people. We dined upstairs in The Gold Room...this was perfect with a private dining area and we were able to enjoy cocktails before inner on on adjacent covered spacious balcony overlooking Bienville St and a portion of Bourbon street.

I try to visit one of the grande dames of NOLA cuisine on each trip and this time we headed to Arnaud's. The food was good--more about that in a moment--but what astonished us was how good the service was. Look around the dining room and there are a surprising number of servers and there is a chain of command so that everyone seems to know how and when to take care of us. We had engaging wait staff and the room captain even spent time at our table. Loved that level of care (and information), down to the tradition of scraping the crumbs off the table after your entree course (which makes sense since there is also the tradition of crusty bread served on the white tablecloth, with no bread plates, resulting in a flurry of bread crumbs). There are many classic dishes here but we were pleased to see some healthier choices too and especially liked the fish Mitchell, done in a Mediterranean style that enhanced but didn't overpower the fish. Note: there are several rooms, including a great bar, a lovely dining room that glows with leaded glass and chandeliers and the "Jazz Bistro" room. We opted for the live music but was a bit sorry. The musicians walked the room, taking requests and it felt intrusive. If you like wandering mariachi bands, this room is for you. We were too satisfied to have dessert and returned another night-- in the glowing main dining room-- for classic bananas foster (tableside) and bread pudding. DON'T MISS THE GLITZY MUSEUM upstairs with amazing costumes and another slice of New Orleans life.

This classic New Orleans restaurant was one I had always wanted to visit and was pleased that, as I was passing through town, were able to get a table. My Oysters Arnaud was an offering of six of their oyster appetizers. While the oysters were lost in the toppings, the flavors were none-the-less wonderful. The Crayfish O'Conner was delicious and the Souffle Potatoes were sublime. Best of all was the attention paid by the very professional servers, John (?) and Jasper. Their balance of humor, engagement and information was among the best I've seen. They made a good meal great. We were seated in the room with a jazz trio, which was quite enjoyable. However the room is rather noisy. This restaurant a must-do.
