Just had lunch at Alegro. This was a lunch which was also meeting of several individuals who had met at a conference across the street. I had a shrimp poboy with a cut of gumbo. The gumbo was very bland without much flavor, the shimp poboy had good flavor but was very small. The service was terrible, it took a long time to get the food and then they would not allow the checks to be separated so the bill was all screwed up. I wound up paying $33 for a sandwich and cup of soup. WAY OVER PRICED. If you are alone or a couple this place may be OK but I would NEVER recommend it to a group or for a professional meeting.
