Excellent lunch spot when the weather is good. We found this small "cafe" when driving off the typical route. The service was very friendly and courteous. The food (sandwich and salad) was above average and atmosphere was comfortable. We sat outside and had the company of 2 dogs at other tables. I enjoyed this as an animal lover and assume other owners appreciate a place to eat with their pups.
I'd recommend it for a casual outside lunch.

This small restaurant is located in what looks like an old gas station on the corner of Freret and Lowerline. Service was quick as was the food coming out. Large portions and very good food. Most everyone sits outside and they even cater to your four legged friends.

What's not to like? The food is awesome and the portions are substantial. If you have a pet, you can also bring your dog and they will provide treats.

My husband and I have tried this cafe twice and both times it was the same problem, slow service. It's not just the food that takes a long time to get to you, but just to get greeted at your table takes about 15 minutes. Then about 20 minutes to get your drinks. And then about 45 minutes to an hour to get your food. The food is ok, but nothing worth that kind of wait. The outdoor dining is nice and it's pet friendly, which is cool. Just don't go when you're really hungry.

My husband and i always take out guests here. The brunch is great and its nice outdoor dining, not to mention pet friendly. I really love the pancakes and my husband loves getting the Black and blue voodoo burger. Overall a great casual eatery in a nice area of new orleans.
