Excellent restaurant in the French Quarter in New Orleans. I went there with my Mom and we had an amazing lunch. We shared the calamari which was honestly one of the best I've had. For lunch I ordered the chicken parmesan panini and my Mom had the meatball sandwich. Everything was excellent including the service! We'll definitely be back when we visit New Orleans again!

Amazing Italian food! It may be an Italian restaurant but that doesn't stop the chef's from incorporating New Orleans flavors and cooking into the mix. The drum special was extremely good. Fantastic atmosphere, great service, nice waitors/waitresses and the dress code wasn't too strict. Prices could have been better, but for all the great things about this restaurant the price was easily overlooked.

A portion of a large table seated near us had to finally leave after waiting for more than an hour for their food to arrive. The service was extremely slow (although for us, not as bad as for the large table) and the food was definitely not worth the money. The bruschetta was bland (think chopped, pink tomatoes on bread, that's it, that's all) and our entrees were equally so. I definitely suggest staying away from this restaurant!

We waited for an hour to be seated only to have a very friendly server take our order then Carmelo himself come out to berrate our server right in front of the customers saying that he could not wait on us. Carmello, who apparently does not believe in deodorant, then gives us an indian waiter who was very difficult to understand. Isn't this an Italian restaurant? We were than pushed into buying wine that was good, but not worth the price. The food took forever and was not worth the wait. This restaurant is bad! They need a new cook, servers who can speak English (although the first one we had was very nice), and deodorant!! Two Big Thumbs Down!! :(

The food was extremely average and the service was terrible. My credit card was charged three times for three different amounts. The manager repeatedly came upstairs and berated the waitress and was extremely rude to two guests at the table next to us. My guest and I were extremely disappointed and will not return and are not looking forward to the hassle of getting our credit card refunded.
