Beautiful pace to stay in NOLA. We were a group of 6 Irish going to NO to party, and the Lookout ticked all the boxes. Kelly (Innkeeper) and her husband were very warm and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable, and the pool and hot tub make it a great place to be after a night on the town! Great value also!

Room Tip: I had the Mardi Gras room - Closest to the pool

You wanna go to New Orleans and enjoy the time? Go to this lovely B&B with its cosy atmosphere and you will have a great time! You can relax by the pool or go by bus to French Quarter (there are 2: no. 5 and ?; home you can take the cab (ca. $8)). A delicious BBQ is in walking distance.

We booked a bachelor party at the Lookout Inn in NOLA very recently and just had a GREAT time!! Great accommodations, very friendly inn keepers, great price, great proximity to all that NOLA has to offer, & by the way - it has a pool AND hot tub. The pool / hot tub feature cannot be underrated- amazing amenities to have in hot New Orleans. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a NOLA destination trip. Great times through & through, 5 stars. Thank you!!

Room Tip: All rooms very equal

When most people think of New Orleans they picture Bourbon Street and the French Quarter but there is so much more to this amazing city and the Lookout Inn gives you the opportunity to experience a different side of NOLA. The Lookout Inn is located in the Bywater, a unique neighborhood of artists and locals that you can easily spend a weekend exploring or use as a jumping off spot for the rest of the city. The Inn itself is great, eclectic, clean and comfortable with a private pool, jacuzzi and backyard for relaxation (or recovery...) The Inn's hosts were accommodating and friendly but also made sure to give us space enough to make us feel at home. There are great restaurants in the immediate area including Elizabeth's, Jack Dempsey's, the Joint and Bacchanal, but you can also easily walk (20-30 min) to the Marginy or the Quarter if you feel the need. There is so much to this city and if you want a different and unique New Orleans' experience check out the Lookout and the Bywater.

This is a great rental with fantastic hosts. Rooms are in great condition and the common pool area is fantastic. Restaurants and bars close by help. Must take a taxi though to downtown or French quarter.

Our group arrived on Wednesday for the 2nd week of Jazz Fest and were quickly greeted with a warm reception by Kelly, Mark and Percival Winston (their pup)! Everything was setup for a great start including a nice cooler filled with refreshments! Kelly stopped by each day to check in to see how our trip had been going and offered up great suggestions to the neighborhood and NOLA in general. We also enjoyed the neighborhood...there are many little restaurants, bars and local music vensues in walking distance. Each room was very clean, warm and inviting. We were so pleased with our stay and hope to return next year!

Room Tip: If you want quick(er) access to the pool and ground level, stay in the Bolliwood or Mardi Gras rooms...

This place was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were in great condition and perfectly clean. Parking around the Inn was a breeze. The property has tons of character from the cabana area to the themed guest rooms and the hosts were great about keeping everything spotless. Its about a 20-30 minute walk (or 5-10 minute, $10 cab ride) to the french quarter but there's a bunch of restaurants and bars tucked away in and around the Bywater that are much closer and equally worth your time (e.g. Bacchanal, Elizabeth's). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: All of the room are pretty much the same (unless you love elvis). The rooms on the second floor do g...
