The Creol Inn is a nice little house in Faubourg Marigny. Not the high end spot for extravangant people, but there is everything you need. It's in a quite area, with many very creativ people around. The French Quarter is within walking distance. Gayl, the innkeeper is an a very helpful person who is around most of the time.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff were lovely, welcoming, friendly and full of advice and tips. We stayed in the 'cowboy room'. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and cool. We had a fridge, cable tv, Internet access and a private bathroom. The inn was located only a short walk from the French quarter, and was in a perfectly safe neighbourhood. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful few days!

Great place to hang your hat and party in new oleans. Very reasonably priced. Not the fanciest place in town but nice enough. Charming.

Room Tip: stayed in the cowboy room.

My friend and I stayed at the Creole Inn last October and completey fell in love with it!!! From the lovely old building, to the wonderful and gracious hostess, to our charming and comfortable room, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Our hostess, Gayle, went out of her way to make us comfortable, accomidate our needs and questions, and was so helpful with ready advice, directions, and tips for our stay. The Inn is only a short distance from the French Quater, and we had no difficulty in reaching any destination. The atmosphere was incredibly friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. We can't wait to visit again!!

My husband and I just spend 3 nights at the Creole Inn, and it was great! The value was amazing, and the location is perfect, just a few blocks from the French Quarter. The innkeeper was very polite and knowledgable. The room was clean, the bed was VERY comfortable. The room was small, but the space was utilized very well. Plenty of space for our clothes and suitcases. Free parking, which is nearly impossible to find! We stayed in the Memories suite, and the only thing I would change-the shower is tiny!! Not such a big deal for me, but my husband is 6'3" 230lbs, so it was a bit of a squeeze for him. But it didn't affect the quality of our stay, and we will be returning, hopefully very soon!

I absolutely Love The Creole Inn. My Partner and I have been going to New Orleans for Southern Decadence ev ery year Since 2008. Our first year we stayed in a hotel in the Quarter, but we were evacuated on our second day because of Gustav. While sitting in the Airport for several hours waiting for our plane, we found out that if we stayed in a Bed and Breakfast, or a Guest House, we would not have been required to leave. plus we wouldn't have had to pay Hotel Taxes. So the next year we searched for B&B's. The Creole Inn was PERFECTLY located for us ... 15 minute walk to French Quarter, 5 minute (or less) walk to all of the events in the Marigny, and Several Eateries and Bars within a block or two. We Loved this place so much, we return every year, and once in March for my Birthday. The Beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in, The Garden Area out back is extremely relaxing with it's fountain and patio furniture, as well as a HUGE Oak Tree (several hundreds of years old, I'm sure. It completly canopies 4 properties). The Inn Keeper, Gail, was VERY nice, helpfull, and accomodating. Even though the Inn was completely booked the whole week we were there last year, it is so quiet that we almost felt that we had the whole place to ourselves! The Creole Inn is the ONLY PLACE TO STAY when we visit New Orleans!!!

Room Tip: The Cowboy Suite is GREAT for Hosteling

Convenient location a short walk to Frenchman Street (Jazz Clubs) 15 minute walk to French Quarter. Our host Gail, friendly and helpful. Plenty of coffee shops nearby for breakfast.
On street parking, no problem parking. Really great price. Clean room, comfortable beds.
Refrigerator in room.
