The hosts, Mary and Hugh, are a pair of paranoiacs. The pages and pages of instructions you must follow that they send before the visit should have tipped us off. Things went fairly well the first couple of days though the "breakfast" was hardly worthy of being described as such. And on our last night a problem with an extremely loud generator outside our window at 12:30 a.m. was preventing us from getting any sleep. When I called to enquire, Hugh was extremely rude over the telephone and when Mary showed up at our door she was hysterical, screaming at us to call a cab and get the hell out if we didn't like it. We were very glad to get out of there.
