Our first trip for Jazz Fest - 4th trip to the city - this inn is at the bus stop to get out to the track for the festival every day, or you can walk the 1.6 miles - very convenient.
Or, if heading to the french quarter, easy walk down Esplanade to the French Market, or head into the quarter just a few blocks down. We had all 3 rooms on the bacony level of the Inn - perfect for a group - we visited out on the balcony and made our plans for the day. The staff, especially Chelsea, were very nice. I only grabbed coffee and a granola bar most days, so I can't really comment on the breakfast - but there was always cold water or a cold soda available.
