two minor problems,I did not report first day, then thought oops maybe I could be charged as damages so called ,, both minor problems fixed within 1 hour. apartment was awesome, having been in the rental / turnover business on Martha's Vineyard I truly know the problems what to look for etc... I can honestly say having travelled many countries and many states, I was impressed. I would have written a 10/10 review before i left, how ever wish to add this when we got back to Orlando FL i had a message on my machine, it seems ( before my niece a visitor from the U.K. had even relized it ) she had left $420 in a drawer in the apartment, the phone message allerted us to the fact and the manager has mailed it to us,This makes me want to stress sometimes a 10/10 review is not enough, though not impressed with NOLA so so impressed with stay alfred and b4 i ever book any trip will check if this company has accomadation where ever i am going. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT STAY, for the curtesy every person i spoke with showed me. if u visit NOLA i rate this accomodation 50 / 10
Stayed at Gallier Court on Carondolet, minutes from Garden District, seconds from French Quarter, and trolley stops just outside the door. Daisy Dukes downstairs had fantastic breakfast and late night food for before and after JazzFest. Apartment was soundproofed so very quiet when quiet needed and the beds very comfortable! StayAlfred sent someone over promptly to fix a smoke alarm and Stefan was very quick and courteous. I would definitely rent this place again!
Our stay for jazz fest was perfect. Great location for anything you want to do in New Orleans. Very spacious and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!
Exceeded my expectations and will definitely book again! Steps away from Bourbon St and few nice little eatery spots.
Great location, very clean, nice place, would easily stay again, a stones throw from the great Burbon Street
Loved being steps away from Bourbon street. Safe and private access to the building. Paid to have parking garage but it comes with complimentary valet 24/7 - well worth it. Stay Alfred staff was very friendly when I had questions before arrival. Definitely will try to book again next year.
Pros: The apartment was as advertised and very clean. Loved the updated decor, comfortable bed and the snacks were a welcome touch. Also loved the fact that there was no street noise. You can hear the neighbors during the day but it was not bothersome. It was very quiet at night. Cons: Instructions for arrival are confusing. We made a mistake and set off an alarm trying to enter the building the first time. If this happens to you, press the # button and the alarm will cease. Also, we were there for Mardi Gras and prepaid for parking, but when we arrived the attendant tried to tell us there was no room for our car. He eventually relented, but it was not fun arguing over something that was already paid for. The location was both good and bad. It is close to the French Quarter and it is in the Central Business District where we needed to go to view the parades, however because of the stench of garbage in this area, and Canal Street, if we return to New Orleans, we will stay elsewhere.
