My boyfriend and I stayed here for July 4th weekend, and really enjoyed it. Our room had a great balcony, and really gave us that New Orleans feel. The room was clean, and we got good maid service the three nights we were there. The locations is excellent -- very close to Bourbon Street and right in the heart of French Quarter. It's good that it's not ON Bourbon Street, as that would be too noisy. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in French Quarter. They have a nice pool, which, unfortunately we didn't get to take advantage of since our time there was so short. The only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is that upon walking in, the room had a faint stuffy smell, which goes away in a few seconds once you're in the room; think it's just natural for an older place. The hotel also has a rich history. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for rooms with balconies! However, since the hotel is officially on the "haunted...

The best part about this hotel is location, you can't beat it! It's right in the middle of the French Quarter and walking distance from all major tourist destinations in the city. The rooms are decent, a bit on the small side, but the customer service is awesome! The one thing I hated which would stop me from staying here again is the valet parking, it takes 30-45 to get your car and let's face it, during major events it's really a pain to drive in the French Quarter!

Our family group of 7 rooms loved our stay at the friendly, clean, beautiful Bourbon Orleans. The hotel lobby and restaurant are stately and beautiful. It feels gracious. The pool was clean, large and soothing with the salt water. Poolside beverage and snack service was a plus. Chairs and loungers comfy with poolside towels. Service was uniformly friendly, prompt and professional. Small group booking was helpful, met all my expectations fully, and competitive price and features. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk throughout the French Quarter. All the rooms were comfortable, well appointed and clean. They felt fresh and even a touch of luxury. Our Orleans loft suite was spacious and fun to have a drink on the balcony and street scene. Per other reviews we brought and used earplugs. Bed comfy and plenty of pillows. Weekend breakfast buffet was delicious with friendly, prompt service. Valet service timely and friendly with recommended advance call. Concierge gave us directions and restaurant recommendations.

Room Tip: All of our rooms were nice, loft suite, poolside corner room opening to pool with sofa in room, regu...

We have stayed here twice this spring and will be back. Fantastic location in the French Quarter. The room was small, but the bathroom was a nice size. Our room looked out over the pool and was very quiet. They give you a coupon for a free drink at check in . Very fresh and clean, no complaints.

Recently we spent 3 nights at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in NOLA right before the 4th of July. We arrived for check in at almost midnite and check in was a breeze. We had opted for the summer package that included some free drinks and daily breakfast and parking.
Our room was on the 4th floor right around the corner from the elevator...which for some reason the elevator ride always reminded us of Tower of Terror...our room was two double beds, very clean, comfortable bed. Had a large bathroom, shower only no tub. Things moved around a bit in the bathroom so either we were not remembering it or....this Hotel is on the list of Haunted places in the French Quarter.
The pool was really nice. Comfortable chairs, plenty of towels. Never crowded. We hated that it locked up at 11 pm. The hotel had ice water and tea in the lobby every afternoon and coffee in the morning. Very nice.
The valet parking was off site and yes it took every bit of 30 minutes to get our car the two times we wanted it.
Everybody was very nice and the hotel well kept. This was our second stay in NOLA in the French Quarter and we enjoyed it very much.

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the pool courtyard are quiet

The pros: great location in the heart of the French Quarter; staff were helpful and friendly; the large outdoor pool was inviting; the hotel provided a complimentary welcome drink, complimentary coffee in the morning, and ice tea in the afternoon; the hotel honored our requests for a room away from Bourbon Street and an extra blanket. A coffee/tea-maker was provided, along with two complimentary bottles of water.

The cons: the room we got was on the small side so the queen bed dominated the room. The corridors are not wall-to-wall carpeted; rather, they are tiled. Thus, any time a hotel guest would open and shut the door or had a conversation in the hallway, the sound was very loud. One day, a couple staying in a room down the hall from us were engaged in a acrimonious argument that could be heard in our room. That was disturbing and we almost called the front desk to report it.

In spite of the negatives, we would stay at this hotel again. The price was reasonable and we benefited from the senior rate.

Stayed for two nights June 30& July 1. Got the best deal by booking directly with the hotel itself - Summer in the City. Room was clean and viewed the pool. Breakfast was included in the package and it was great. Had a couple of drinks in the bar. Steve the bartender was great.Staff were friendly and polite
Hotel is right in the heart of the French Quarter. Toured Bourbon street first night. A local shop owner told us that the locals prefer Frenchman Street so we ventured on the second night. A little bit of a walk but lots of music.
