We visited NOLA for the New Year celebrations and were delighted by the historical French Quarter in which the hotel is situated.
The rooms we had on the second floor was very comfortable and quite suitable for three people sharing as the twin queen size beds were ample for a couple and one other.
The price included the use of the fitness facility and the open air pool.
In the lobby area, there is a cafe searing all-day food and refreshments and a bar.
I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over Christmas vacation, based on the reviews on this website. The location is absolutely perfect - literally a block from Bourbon Street with an entrance onto Canal Street for shopping. (We chose to park our vehicle on the side streets off of Canal - no meter charges after 6 pm until 8 am - and saved the valet parking fee). Even though this was close to Bourbon Street it was very quiet inside the hotel. We had a room on the courtyard (much shorter to walk through the courtyard to our sliding door entrance rather than around the long hallways from the elevator!) We were able to walk comfortably everywhere in the French Quarter, and drove to the Garden District, etc. easily. All employees greeted us with a smile whenever we walked through the lobby or the hallways, and we had no problems with plenty of hot water for showers. We had the Rendezvous package that included an "All-American breakfast" each morning - that consisted of eggs any style, choice of meat, and choice of toast with jam, etc. It was actually a lot of food and tasted great, but did not include drinks. Service was excellent, and we look forward to returning for a visit again in the future.

Room Tip: The courtyard rooms were easier to access and were very quiet.

We stayed here for 3 nights before Christmas. We arrived, tired after a long flight from the UK: checkin was friendly and efficient. We were very fortunate to be given a room upgrade, and allowed a late checkout. The hotel is perfectly located for the French Quarter and within a short stroll of the St Charles streetcar stop. Very comfortable beds, free WiFi in the lobby and good dining options made this a great stay ( the cafe au lait in Powdered Sugar was the best!). Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking one of the courtyards- if you want to avoid the street noise

We stayed four nites during Xmas and while its a nice hotel and good location, the service stinks. There was only luke warm water during our entire stay. When I called to complain I was given excuses about their water systems and told it would be fixed soon. It never was fixed. And, several times I asked to speak to a manager and was told he would return my call. He never did!!! There we're several other instances of poor service that I could provide details about. Trust me, if good service is important to you, by all means please avoid this hotel!!!

This place is decent. It is clean, has large rooms, centrally located in New Orleans. The staff is friendly. overall I have no mayor complaints. The room that I had was nice and modern, the rest of the hotel facilities might need a gentle facelift. Overall an ok place, a safe choice.

the hotel was very nice and comfortable, newly designed with a very helpful staff - some were a little too eager at times..
the water pressure in the shower is not the best i've seen, but the room was perfectly clean and tended to ad everything we asked for was brought in promptly.
the location is perfect - right at the edge of the frenche quarter - everything is close by, and the back door goes right into Canal street where the streetcar can take you anywhere else in town...
the only downside was the cfeteria, named "Powdered Sugar". the food is decent but the service is the slowest, most inefficient i've seen anywhere in the USA. Luckily there are plenty of other options around, so even if it's just for coffee on the way out - skip it!

This is a very nice hotel with a Hyatt standard close to Bourbon Street and the Tram line. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us all the does and don'ts of New Orleans and where to eat. The area around this hotel is safe but I wouldn't go to far off Bourbon Street at night. Happy hour or should I say hours on Bourbon Street is from 4 to 8 every night. Of a day time everywhere was fine and easy to get around. An all day pass for the tram is $3 p/p. A hint, don't let anyone try and shine your shoes, it is a scam.
