This hotel oozes class from the moment you walk up the steps to classical music and are greeted by the friendly doorman. The decor inside is beautiful and the staff ultra friendly and helpful. The free late night PBJ sandwiches and hot chocolate was a nice touch and gives the hotel a very welcoming feel. This place is ideally situated a few minutes walk from all the sights and sounds of the French Quarter so there is lots to do nearby but is a quiet refuge to return to. We had a great stay here and would definitely go back.

Like a lovely movie star, a little past her prime, Le Pavillon is intriguing and delightful.

Le Pavillon is one of the oldest hotels in New Orleans. The lobby and halls are filled with delicious antiques. It's charming and quite fun to think about its history.

The staff stays and stays. At first, they seem a bit standoffish. However, as you get to know the people in the hotel you come to like them more and more and more and more. It's one of the kindest and classiest places in the city.

After reading many wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor for Le Pavillon, I booked a 5 night stay for my husband and I for our New Orleans vacation. I am so glad that I did. The hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable. The entire staff is warm, friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious. The food was delicious and the service in the restaurant outstanding. Le Pavillon is within walking distance of the French Quarter so we didn't have to do a lot of driving. The daily parking fee was high but no higher than some of the other hotels we've stayed at in other cities.

We just recently went on a trip to New Orleans for my daughter Katie's Make-a-Wish to meet Lady Gaga. This was the hotel that the organization chose for us and it was a delightful surprise! I am very cautious about bed bugs and my husband emailed them before hand about my concerns and they were extremely nice and assured me that they take every precaution and report of bed bugs very seriously and treat the room immediately. They also informed us that no bed bugs had ever been reported in our room. When we arrived at the hotel it was a very old-fashioned classic white building. The lobby was absolutely spectacular and was very warm and pleasant. It was truly classy and elegant with New Orleans french charm. The bellhop was very kind and welcoming from the minute we pulled up. When we got to our room I was speechless. One of the concierge members at the hotel had worked for Make-a-Wish and made sure that our stay would be one we would never forget. The suite was enormous with an entryway, bedroom with two twins, master bedroom, guest bathroom, baby grand piano, huge flat screen tv in living room with two couches, and a dining area with a table that seats six! There was also an kitchenette with a sink, coffee maker, etc. We were truly blown away. The beds were comfortable enough and the bathrooms were small, but this is part of the charm of an old hotel. If you are looking for a state of the art modern luxury hotel this is not for you. But if you appreciate the old world comfort, history, and elegance and want an amazing experience that makes you feel like you are in a completely different era and you never want to leave, then you have found the right place. Great wireless internet as well. Dining room served breakfast for us even though it was time for lunch and the pb&j sandwiches in the lobby at 10pm is a great plus and sweet tradition! Loved this hotel and I did not see ONE bed bug or any sign of them on the mattress/in the room, and I know what to look for! Truly fantastic.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. The room was very pretty & clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The location is a little bit of a distance from the French Quarter but is walkable. There are also trolley cars close by.
